[Yes] this does what i want, syncs w/ the android app for many color options. i'm unsure if i can independently run the led strips and this light however (i.e. have different color schemes running at the same time on the different lights), which I was hoping to do. Will look into it more. Seems like it should be possible.... 5

[Yes] Sometimes you don't want to use a voice assistant to adjust the lights, even if you have a smart speaker. Sometimes your smart speaker doesn't hear you, or you want to control the lights from a room in which you don't have a smart speaker. For those instances, I've found these to be a great solution. One tip: I use 3M command fasteners to stick these to the wall instead of the included mounting solutions. The command fasteners do cause the plate to be held a little offset from the wall, but the ability to more easily remove and reposition them without leaving a screw hole or mark on the wall is worth it. 5

[Yes] This Accessory is a must if you have Philips Hue Lights. Once set up it works just like a regular light switch with the ability to store up to 4 light settings. No need to open up an App on your phone or computer to turn on lights. I suggest one for each room you have Philips light installed. 5
