The samsung 17 lcd monitoris designed for speaking events where the teleprompter is positioned in such a way that the text is only visible to the reader. The speaker sees the scrolling text on his side of the mirror, but all the audience sees is a clear piece of glass. The TSP2-17 features a 14" x 16" beamsplitter mirror that has rounded corners and a 17" LCD monitor along with a 25' VGA cable and has a reading distance of 22 feet. It also includes a license for Telmax's ZaPrompt Pro software, which creates the scrolling text for the monitor and can be installed on four computers.

The TSP2 presidential teleprompter series incorporates all of the features of the predecessor TSP line, but utilizes a completely re-designed mirror clamp system to give it a sleeker and cleaner look, while making it smaller, lighter, and more versatile. Along with the mirror clamp, the monitor mount has also been updated with a new folding support system that allows the monitor assembly to stay fully intact during transport.

A: There are certainly brighter monitors. You might want one with 400 cd/m2 brightness or higher.

A: The Telmax Futura 19" LCD Teleprompter with 19" LCD Monitor requires the Zaprompt software to flip the image. It is not a reversing display.

A: The ZaPrompt Pro Software is compatible with Macs that are OS 10.7 and higher.

A: This monitor has an HDMI 1.4 Input and an HDMI 2.0 Input. Those are both capable of displaying 4K content to some extent.

A: the manufacturer does not specify the brightness of this screen. it is not a high bright teleprompter so the brightness would most likely be a standards brightness of 200-250 nits

[29.5 lb] If there was any doubt about whether I like this monitor, it should be dispelled by the fact that this is the third Samsung UR59C monitor I've purchased. I'm using them on three computers. I use them for programming, electronic design (schematic capture and PCB layout), 3D modeling, as well as the usual office applications, email, etc. A curved monitor does take a little bit of getting used to for CAD and 3D modeling. 5
