[Gray] This is a great camera for someone who is not an expert but still wants nice photos. It's easy to use, it's not too big, I can fit it in my purse. Also the price is great for the value.

[Gray] The beauty of the E-PL1 is that I can always take it with me. With the Lumix 20 1.7, it's a nearly ideal street camera, fast with High IQ. AF is adequate and the interface is fine unless you feel the need to fiddle with every setting for every shot. I would like to have the rear wheel like the E-P1, but with a bit of practice using the joypad works fine.

[0.505 lb] I'm really loving the camera. I've used bulkier DSLR's but wanted to go lighter and this fit the bill. I got the all black model which is truly a classic. I like that one can build up on it with various lenses and accessories. At first I had a slight learning curve with the menu's which took some getting use to. There were some area's where I wish it would be a smoother transition to override in certain modes. As far as optics, it's awesome. I still yet have to shoot more to give my total blessing, but so far I'm happy....metering right on, color, and auto focus is sweet. I'm using an 8gb class 10 which i bought with camera, very fast transfer rate. I have the 14-42mm. Overall I like the built, it's solid in the hand. And I've been very satisfied with the images I've been getting out of this camera. I'm not a filter guy, but the built in filters are really cool.

[0.505 lb] Bought as a gift for 10 year-old daughter. She wanted a camera with a bit more control than a point and shoot. She took a darkroom course this summer and got the first inkling of what goes into great photography. Blown away by the image quality. The auto mode and the scenes are great ways to stretch an amateur's mastery of a camera's basic controls. Still learning. Wish it had a range finder sight. Shooting in bright sun with the LCD makes composition a bit tricky at times.

[0.505 lb] for me, this is camera is as close to a perfect fit as I could find. I love its size, it capabilities, its price, and its underwater case. I'm an avid scuba diver and as well I love to document the places I travel, and it is always nice to have a good camera when a great party is happening. I'm not professional and I honestly would love to have a nice big DSLR around to use, but who needs all that expensive gear if you're not getting paid for your photo's. The EPL-1 is my happy medium but leaves me plenty of room to expand and grow in photography. Can't wait to get the wide angle lens and the ZEN dome port.

[Gray] I have small hands and this camera is just the right size and weight for me to be able to comfortably take a variety of excellent shots. The camera did stop working for me at about six months after a several hour shoot in hot, humid weather. My dealings with the Olympus warranty crew were swift and positive. They replaced the CCD and the lens at no cost to me (other than the initial mailing cost to the warranty center). I use this camera with the EF-2 Viewfinder and thus don't have to worry about ambient light conditions affecting my ability to set exposure.

[0.505 lb] The E-PL1 has exceeded my expectations. The quality of the pictures are extraordinary, when considering the price. It has exceeded what I wanted and would expect for camera in this price range.

[Gray] I use this camera as my pocket camera. It is taking the place of my Leica CL for ease of portability. It is small unobtrusive and easy to operate. An added advantage is being able to use my Leica lenses with an adapter. The best of both worlds. The only complaint is a higher level of noise that I like, but I am sure I will find a satisfactory medium.

[0.505 lb] I use this camera to take photographs of things I run across in my daily travels, vacations, friends and closeups on items. It is the perfect size and has all the options I need on it. I don't need a camera that has all the bells and whistles. I really enjoy this camera, I don't have any negative comments at this time!
