A: This Medium Apollo will pair nicely with the AD200. I would suggest using it with the bare bulb in a rear facing position to maximize the spread of light in the modifier. The size of the AD600 and therefore the fit inside the box may not make it ideal unless you use the accessory H600b remote head.

Q: 2. Can I ask why this is not compatible with Elinchrom Flashes?

A: This softbox uses a thicker umbrella shaft which does not fit in the 7mm slot of an of Elinchrom flash head.

Q: 3. What stand would be a good choice to place the Westcott 50x50 very low to the ground for newborn photography? Preferably under $80.

A: I use Mathews reverse stand! It goes right low to the ground. Perfect for newborn and baby photography :)

Q: 4. Can be used for groups? How many people?

A: There are a lot of factors involved. Distance of light to group, arrangement of the group, what type of light is in the box, camera settings and level of expectations are all important. Experimentation is usually the best bet to figure out how many it can cover in your circumstance, but it can range from 1 to 20+.

A: Mine is approx 47.5" x 47.5" at edges. Diffusion panel is approx 44" x 44". It is 29" deep inside if measured to edges, and 21" deep inside if measured to diffusion panel. Add 2" for a cap end, and you get 31" external length. Collapsed: 49.5" x 6".

A: Straight out of my box, it measures about 35 in.from end to end. Somewhat similar to a large umbrella. When opened it is 28 28. across. Height is approximately 24 in. when standing on a surface in an open position, dome downward.

Q: 8. Hi! Just wondering if this will work with continuous light? I have the Spriderlight TD6!

A: I use a Yongnuo 300 II LED light in it and it works great for my purposes. However the 300 isn't the brightest light so you may want a bigger light source depending on your uses.

Q: 9. How can this soft box be used for video lighting. Please include exact recommendations of which lights to consider using.

A: I didn't use this for video lighting I used this for my external flash on my camera. Given your specific question I would think that if you used a 100+ watt bulb you should be able to use it for video, easily.
