This package of eight dji ronin stabilizerfrom dji ronin stabilizeris designed to be used with the CineMilled CM-810 Mount Plate for DJI Ronin-M and Spreading Wings S1000. The tabs are required when using the Mount Plate and add additional dampening.

A: DJI is marketing this for large camera's and lenses and has stated small mirrorless cameras are better served by the Ronin M or Ronin MX.

A: This is a service kit to replace the main components if damaged. You get the Ronin 2 Gimbal Head, the TB50 Battery Mount, and the Ronin 2 Power Hub.

A: Yes, the Panasonic EVA-1 will work well on the Ronin 2.

A: Hey Andrew. Yes, some Red camera parameters will be able to be controlled directly through the Ronin 2's touchscreen, though the Red Raven may not be compatible in this regard. The Ronin 2 also has internal SDI routing so you can plug a monitor into the Ronin 2 itself.

Q: 7. What is the wireless controller's range? Can we rely on the controller to operate the Ronin 2 when set up on a 500 ft long cable cam?

A: yes it should be capable of 500' Line of sight, but this is line of sight so the real world expectation would be less than 500'

A: Whether a case is included and what the size is thereof is not known at this time.

Q: 9. What else is needed to make this fully usable?

A: this is a repair unit for RONIN service and is not intended for solo use. it is a parts only repair unit

Q: 10. will this unit work with the red ranger monstro?

A: yes it will support the payload, you will most likely need some additional mounting accessories from cinemilled to set up the gimbal for the longer camera body

[0.105 lb] This gimbal works great with my heavier DSLR camera (2.5 - 3lbs), with no shaking or seizing! It is noticeably lighter than its predecessor, the Ronin S. It is very smooth, just be sure, as with any gimbal, to properly balance it. The balancing tutorials and test on the app make this incredibly easy and streamlined to do properly. The case is also well designed, as it allows you to balance the gimbal and pack it down without having to unbalance it. Overall, an incredible gimbal and highly recommended! 5

[0.105 lb] be CERTAIN of the weight and dimensions of the camera you want to use on this. Lots or camera eye pieces hit the gimbal. Awesome for the price if your camera fits 5

[0.105 lb] Great quality as expected from DJI. Battery life seems to be really good so far. A good price point. Adequately protected for day to day use with the case that it comes with but would recommend an alternative case for traveling. This is a smooth and easy to use gimbal with features that I didn't realize it had until after it arrived. I made a bit of a hurried purchase as I needed a gimbal quickly. Item was better than expected. 5

[0.105 lb] I am new to gimbal stabilizers and for me this is a great way to learn how to use this piece of tech in my workflow without making a huge investment. Zero issues so far. Some features available on the newer larger models would be nice like the micro adjustment dials for balancing but at twice the price, I am ok doing without. 5
