The ultrium 5 drivefrom ultrium 5 drivecleans the tape heads of HPE and non-HPE Ultrium standalone tape drives and libraries. The cartridge removes debris from the read/write head and tape path of the drive, providing reduction in errors, improved data security, extended drive life, and optimized drive performance. The cleaning cartridge can be used up to 50 times with HPE Ultrium 960 and 460 tape drives and up to 15 times with HPE Ultrium 230 and 215 tape drives.

[0.455 lb] Our small video agency recently upgraded our LTO drive to LTO-8 and started buying these tapes for our footage and project archives. The significant capacity increase with only marginal increase to cost per tape saves our company a lot of time and money.
