Patterns, or gobos, are widely used by designers in theatre, film, photography and television to create atmosphere, project scenery, and generally enhance the visual impact of their lighting.

Conceived by some of the world's leading lighting designers, the Rosco range presently includes hundreds of standard steel gobo designs.

To insure design integrity the patterns are etched using a precise double-sided process on stainless steel. The result is durable, high quality patterns which will withstand the extreme heat at the gate of ellipsoidal spotlights.

Trimming of patterns, where necessary, can be easily accomplished with a pair of scissors.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Hi, what is the "closed dimension" of this boom arm including the hook? I've seen some site showed 124cm while others are shorter. As I'm planning to get this with a transporting case and many cases have length less than 120cm.

A: This is 49"long.

Q: 2. Will this work with SSD from Mac Pro 2013?

A: Depends on what form your SSD card is.

Q: 3. If I have this USB 3.1 enclosure holding an M.2 SSD (capable of 10Gbps speeds) and plug this adapter into my 2015 MacBook Pro's Thunderbolt 2 port, will I get the full 10Gbps speeds? The Samsung M.2 I have is capable of 1.5Gbps write and 2.5Gbps read.

A: Please note that the StarTech M.2 NGFF USB 3.1 SATA Enclosure does not support Thunderbolt. Using your computers USB 3.0 port you will see speeds near your drives maximum, however due to many factors you will not reached the advertised numbers. This is not a limitation with this specific enclosure.

Q: 4. will it fit a regular Avenger or Matheus c-stand?

A: This boom requires the use of a grip head. Then it will fit any standard c stand.

Q: 5. Hello, I just wanted to verify that this is brand new and not a refurb; is that correct? Thank You!

A: Yes, this Transcend 128GB M.2 SSD is a new item. All items on our website are new unless marked otherwise.

Q: 6. How can I securely mount this to a light stand or tripod with sand bags? What mounting adapters, threads, etc. would I need?

A: The correct adapters to mount this fixture to a stand or tripod will be as follows; Impact TVMP Yoke Mount to Baby Receiver or Junior Adapter, and Impact 5/8" Stud with 1/4"-20 Female Threads. The Impact 5/8" Stud with 1/4"-20 Female Threads will allow the conversion from tripod plate to the 5/8 baby receiver, this will connect to the Impact TVMP Yoke Mount to Baby Receiver or Junior Adapter.

Q: 7. How many inches/cm wide do the jaws open?

A: The clamp opens to 2.3".

Q: 8. Would this work on a MacBook air after 2013

A: The StarTech M.2 SATA SSD Enclosure will not work with the SSD from a MacBook Air after 2013. The MacBook uses PCIe 3.1 x 4 interface. The enclosure only supports SATA interface.

Q: 9. Does the maximum load of 11 pounds include the counterweight? Or is it 11 pounds on the extended end, and then the counter weight is in addition to that?

A: I've personally used it to arm out a Kino Diva 401 with a 15lb sandbag on the back. As long as it's rigged correctly at the knuckle, I'd say the 11lb weight limit is an engineers rating. That being said, a weak point is definitely swivel counterweight hook on the back. I've not taken it apart to see how it's attached, but it can't be very secure as it swivels to prevent weights from falling off. However the real weak point is the operator. Putting 1lb out at full extension can still severely hurt someone if it's not rigged correctly, regardless of the brand of boom. Always use common sense over manufacturers recommendations.

Q: 10. What is the size and thread of the bolt for the fixture?

A: The bolt is a M12.

[Whirl] It's a metal gobo. What can I say more? The price is nice and if you have a gobo projector it is what you need.
