[39.7 lb / 18 kg] This lens is awesome, and produces clean images with real cinematic effects. I have the entire set (35mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, 135mm, 150mm plus the 1.25 adapter that produces a 2x squeeze when paired with the 1.6x anamorphic squeeze of the lenses). The lenses produce uniform colors all throughout the set, and images are sharp wide open at T2.9. Somehow SIRUI has managed to make these primes sharp wide open, but not too sharp, given you that movie like look without any diffusion filters on the front of your lens. If you haven't tried the anamorphic look, you have no idea what your projects are missing. As result of purchasing this set, my G Masters and spherical Cine primes are collecting dust. The SIRUI 1.6x T 2.9 Venus Anamorphic lenses are a great set of glass.

[39.7 lb / 18 kg] Excellent budget anamorphic lens. It works exceptionally well with my Sony A7sIII full frame camera. The Viltrox DC-X3 on camera monitor just complements the whole setup. It has exec 1.6 de-squeeze factor to help you compose every shot.

[0.9 lb / 400 g] Got this lens as well as the 24 and 35mm.
Having the GH5 and it being a mft sensor, these lenses really expand the width of footage and keep the height.
The flares and bokeh are amazing!

[39.7 lb / 18 kg] I love anamorphics, but sometimes budget doesn't allow for rentals. I turned to the Siruis so I could at least have some anamorphics for those lower budget projects, and honestly I was surprised by the incredible quality. Lenses are sharp and easy to use. Flaring is clean and appropriate. Lens is incredibly easy to use and focus. I've found myself using it on more projects even with a budget so I can have the flexibility to put more in my pocket. 0 complaints here.

[1.4 lb] My background, goes so far back that I have scavenge projector parts to make anamorphic lenses. Needless to say the retail price of some of the so-called anamorphic lenses that are available commercially lack of performance to justify the price, and the same is even more true with the budget anamorphic lenses. That being said, Iwas fully expected being burned by what looks a glorified squeeze diopter, and I am pleasantly surprised to wrong in this case. I was wrong to avoid purchasing this earlier.

I’m just like everybody els, I get bored and I try to curb my gear acquisition syndrome by reading, watching, and generally consuming reviews. Well, the reviews on this are mixed I don’t think they’re justified. Unfortunately, we live in a world where the people review things, aren’t professionally alined enough to do that reviews, yhey are lacking experience necessary to fully understand how to utilize the equipment that they are sometimes unjustly massacring in reputation. That being said, this lens, and that’s what it is, is only limited by its use.

I just received my copy four hours ago. And before throwing it on the camera, I light tested, color tested and prism tested it, I gave it better scrutinization that I would and irregular mole. It’s mechanically and optically sound.

Before even attaching it to a taking lens I knew this was a gem. I’m not a salesman, but I would advise people to actively avoid the reviews, there’s not a lot of experienced reviewer’s that are truly worthy of judging the performance of a piece of glass like this. I they don’t really respect the basement art of this field of vie, in the first place. This piece of kit can only be as good as its host equipment, the operator and the application. That being said, this adapter could easily, and I mean “easily” be adapted into an amazing lens of its own with very little effort.

Long-winded sleepy rant /review over, the bottom line is I have a feeling these will be sought after soon

[39.7 lb / 18 kg] This is a great, well built adapter for anyone wanting to experiment with anamorphic filmmaking and not spend a ton of money on multiple lenses.

[1.4 lb] This lens is well-made and the pictures are sharp. It's a bit heavy but definitely acceptable.
