Crafted from high-quality smooth leather by skilled Italian craftspeople, the dark brown camera backpack vs shoulder bagis designed to store and protect up to two DSLR or mirrorless cameras, two to three lenses, a flash, and related accessories. Your Undercut features two zippered compartments and a removable insert with padded, touch-fastening dividers. Also inside this compartment is a lanyard with a clip for your keys. A versatile bag, it has a hidden harness and back padding for converting to backpack usage.

The front of the Undercut has two zippered pockets for storing items you wish to keep handy, such as a cellphone or wallet. There are interior pockets as well. When not traveling with camera gear, you may elect to remove the insert and convert the bag for general purpose use. The bag is easily carried with the top handles, side handle, harness, or adjustable shoulder strap. For comfort, the wide shoulder strap has a sliding pad, and attaches with swiveling snap-hooks to avoid annoying strap twists. Locating gear in low light is easier with the light gray fabric lining the removable insert and dividers. The Undercut closes with a YKK zipper.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this bag meet airline carryon limits? Also, can you store a Canon 100-400mm lens vertically in this bag? Thanks!

A: The Stratus 21 is the largest of the Stratus family of shoulder bags. Depending on the size of the plane you're traveling on the bag should fit an oversized overhead compartment. Certainly, it will not fit a regional CR-J plane but a long-haul sized plan should accommodate the bag. According to B&a href= http://H.com target= _blank H.com/a Canon EF100-400mm specs, the lens is approx 7.44 tall and the Stratus 21 is internally 10 deep so the lens should fit.

Q: 2. Does this bag have "feet" on the underside to protect the bottom when it's placed on wet ground?

A: This bag does not have feet.

Q: 3. Will a canon 100-400mm lens fit in this bag?

A: Tom, I don't have your 100-400mm lens, but I do have the Tamrac bag in question and the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM lens, which is sized almost identically to your 100-400mm lens. For example, your lens is only 0.1 or 0.2 longer (depending upon whether you have the original model or the second generation, respectively) than mine, but that is an insignificant difference. More significant is that my lens is 0.4 or 0.2 wider, respectively, even though all 3 lenses use 77mm filters, which means that you might have an easier time fitting your slimmer lens into the Tamrac bag than I do with my fatter lens. You'd have to lay the lens down horizontally (either attached to the camera or separated) because the lens is too long to stand upright without the bag having a tightly bulging lid. (I haven't even tried to zip the stiff lid with the lens upright because it would not be easy.) You'd still have to remove dividers on one side and perhaps rearrange those remaining because the horizontal tunnel through the middle of the bag is not wide enough for my fat lens and probably not wide enough for yours. However, when you lay the lens into the bag horizontally, then you might lose the ability to also fit the full complement of accessories that you want to also have in the bag. That is why I prefer to carry my lens separately in Canon's rugged & padded soft case that is provided with the lens, which works for me because this much telephoto is not needed for every shoot, but I consider other items more necessary. (For example, I prefer the EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM lens for portraits, macro and many telephoto shots.) If you really want your long lens in the camera bag along with other lenses & accessories, then you might prefer to look for a bag taller than the Tamrac Stratus 15, depending upon what else you want to fit in there. An extra inch or two taller might be enough for your lens to stand upright (detached from the camera), which would greatly reduce the size of its footprint inside the bag. On the other hand, if you don't plan to carry too many lenses, then this bag should work great!

Q: 4. No water bottle pocket?

A: The Tamrac Stratus 6 Shoulder Bag (Black) does not have a water bottle pocket.

Q: 5. Will this hold:Canon 5D Mark iiiCanon 135mm f2Canon 24 - 70 f2.8 v2Canon 600 ex rt--two of theseSigma 85mm Art lens?

A: Depending on how you configure your equipment within the bag you should be able to fit your gear. The internal dimensions are 12.5 x 7.0 x 7.0 with various adjustable divider components.

Q: 6. does this zip closed or do you use the clips? in the picture it doesnt look like the clips are attached to anything...thanks

A: This bag uses clips and a zipper, if you look closely, the clips are attached.

Q: 7. what is the length, width& height?

A: The exterior dimensions of the Tamrac Stratus 8 Shoulder Bag are 15 x 8.5 x 8.5 inches (38.1 x 22 x 22 cm). The interior dimensions of the case are listed as 11 x 7 x 6.5 inches (28 x 18 x 17 cm).

Q: 8. Can I attach neck Sony necks trap, sunshade and battery pack in landscape mode? Would also like to put recharger/wire. Fits?

A: To fit a camera and a variety of accessories, I'd recommend the larger Ruggard Onyx 35 Camera/Camcorder Shoulder Bag (B&H # RUVSY135B) over the Ruggard Onyx 25 Camera/Camcorder Shoulder Bag.

Q: 9. Would this fit the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ330?

A: The Ruggard Onyx 25 Camera/Camcorder Shoulder Bag can easily accommodate the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300 Digital Camera. You might also consider the Ruggard Hunter 25 DSLR Holster Bag BH #RUPHB125B • MFR #PHB-125B.

Q: 10. Will this fit under the seat on a 737 ? Not up in the overhead- but under the seat.

A: The exterior dimensions of the Tamrac Stratus are 18.5 x 9 x 10" / 47 x 23 x 26 cm. The under seat dimensions for a 737 seem to vary between airlines. Please take a look at the following link: https://bit.ly/2OEXP7z Based on the dimensions in the above article, it will fit under most seats. But it might need to be squished a little to fit under some airlines seats such as American Airlines or Delta if you get the window seat.

[Smooth leather] I've used Tamrac bags for more than 30 years now. I got this one to hold my D850. If you have smaller lenses, you can probably use it for 2 cameras. However, I use the larger wide angle zoom and the mid-range. This takes up a lot of space. Still, it's a well-made bag that you can customize a little to fit your needs. I'll be buying the 10 to hold an old F5 and F3, film cousins.
