Breathe new life into your Pentax 645-mount lens by using it on a fresh Canon EF-mount camera with the Fotodiox Vizelex ND Throttle Adapter, which even features a built-in variable ND filter for added control over your exposure. The integrated ND filter of the Vizelex offers a 0.3 to 2.4 filter factor, which translates into a wide range of 1 to 8 stops. This makes the adapter ideal for videographers and photographers who may want to make quick adjustments to their filtration throughout the day. The ND filter can be used to lengthen the shutter speed or use larger apertures when working in bright sunlight. Also, the placement of the filter within the adapter means that switching lenses does not require users to fiddle with additional filters and it will even work with lenses that do not have a filter thread. Additionally, this filter is constructed of both brass and aluminum for a durable construction and precise fit with your equipment that guarantees infinity focus.

[0.45 lb] I don't like the way the auto/manual focus ring works. It is too easy to unintentionally slip from one to the other.

[0.45 lb] I am a full time commercial/promotional photographer and made the switch to the pentax 645z for my commercial and higher end individual shoots. After a few months I had acquired all of the main lenses for this system including the amazing 120mm macro. Out of the 150, 200 and 120mm currently available for this camera, the 120mm is the real standout. The lens is used almost daily in my studio and stands up against the 90mm easily. As a matter of fact, I did side by side tests against the super pricey 90mm for the pentax 645z and couldnt not see enough of an image quality difference to justify keeping the 90mm. Its sharp, focuses quickly, built like a tank and has zero vignetting and ca. Overall an amazing lens that is almost a required purchase if you shoot fashion/headshots on the 645z!

[Canon EF] One of the sharpest lenses available for the Pentax 645z. I use this lens extensively for wildlife and long reach landscape. Also great for candid portrait pics of people from a distance. Excellent bokeh. Balances well with the 645z and handheld photography is easy, even without image stabilization.

[0.45 lb] This lens sometimes gets a bit of a bad rap, but my experience is quite the opposite. The lens delivers very sharp results, and it is pretty light compared to other Pentax offerings. The compromise is that you only get an f/5.6 aperture. In practice that means that my 645Z has a harder time focusing in very dark situations, which is something that I can live with, but otherwise, very pleased with this little lens.

[0.45 lb] I shoot the FA 80/160 on my 645n and it's very sharp for a zoom. This lens gets a 9.6 user rating on the Pentax Forums and may be the best of the zooms. Bokeh is pleasant and focus is super quick.
