A: The Hasselblad XV Lens Adapter only works with the camera's electronic shutter. Unfortunately the leaf shutter cannot be used.

Q: 6. Does this adapter allow HC lenses to be used with the leaf shutter in the XCD cameras?

A: Yes, the Hasselblad XH Lens Adapter (B&H # HAXHLADP) can be used to mount an HC or HCD lens onto an X System or 907X camera.

Q: 7. Will this work with the new Hasselblad X2D?

A: Unfortunately Hasselblad Release Cord X for X1D-50c Camera is not compatible with the Hasselblad X2D camera.

Q: 8. Is this lens threaded for filters?

A: Yes, it has a 62mm filter thread.

Q: 9. Will there be a lens hood available in the future? The lens appears to not have any mean to attach one...

A: At this time I do not see any hoods that will work with out giving some vignette. And Hasselblad has not as of today given information of making one.

Q: 10. HI Does this cord work on long exposure ?

A: The Hasselblad X1D offers very long exposures in the camera itself so the Hasselblad Release Cord X for X1D-50c Camera is only used to take the picture without needing to touch the camera.

[0.6 lb] Designed just for Hasselblad cameras. When the shutter on your lens has tripped and you can't mount it on your camera body you'll be glad you had this handy tool.! Screwdrivers and coins might work but could damage your camera, this is the one to use. Comes in a leather case too.! 5

[0.6 lb] If you shoot with a Hasselblad 500 series camera on a regular basis, there will always be some point where you need to manually wind up the lens or bellows or extension tube manually to synchronize the couplings when you put them back together. This tool has both sizes needed and fits securely over the coupling, makes it a simple job. 5

[0.6 lb] The Hasselblad 500 CM is a great camera and is totally analogue. No electrical components at all. It is truly a precision machine. However, there are times when the camera locks up - when the lens has been released and the camera body is still cocked. When this happens, you cannot remove the lens, you cannot release the shutter and you cannot wind the camera. The only way to unlock it is with a screwdrive or this tool. With the screwdriver, you risk scratching the back element of the lens when turning the cocking screw for the lens (which has a LOT of spring pressure). This tool slides OVER the cocking screw, preventing it from slipping and damaging the Zeiss lens glass. Easy to use, easy to pack in the camera bag and a life saver when you're in the field and the camera locks up. 5
