[Snap Fastener] After struggling with the cumbersome two piece Horizontal version for over a year I decided to try the Vertical model. What a tremendous improvement! The Vertical is one piece. Simply flip the lid and pull out or drop in your camera. All features of the camera are fully accessible and the case even accommodates the RX100 m4 with the optional grip attached. In contrast, the Horizontal model is in two pieces, the body cover and the top cover. The body cover screws on the body via a thumbscrew to tripod socket, the top cover snaps onto the body piece with two metal snaps. While it looks great, the Horizontal model does not accommodate the optional grip; the body cover prevents access to the battery and card compartment; you have to be careful not to loose the top piece; and even though you can still mount your camera on a tripod without removing the body piece, removing the tripod is extremely fidgety...hard to explain but as you try to unscrew the tripod from the hole in the case thumbscrew, the thumbscrew itself wants to rotate the opposite direction which actually tightens the connection rather than loosen. The Vertical Soft Carrying Case is more expensive than the Horizontal, but functionally head and tails better.

[0.315 lb] I received my order promptly from B&H. The case fits the Sony RX100 vi quite well (with the added grip). The case is well made and is constructed of high-quality leather. I am very pleased with the purchase. I would have liked an additional storage space for a battery and/or memory card. As always, B&H is the best.

[0.315 lb] This is an extremely well made case. I use it with my Sony RX100V camera with the (optional) grip attached to the camera. It is easy to slide the camera in and out of the case, and it fits the camera really well. Not sure why it wasn't advertised as a case for the newer version of the RX100, but it fits perfectly even with the little grip attached to the camera. I'm very happy with it and would definitely buy it again.

[Shoulder Strap] Case is leather on the outside with soft felt-like material on the inside. Nice leather strap to hold the case around your neck or shoulder. Bought the case when I bought the camera.

[0.315 lb] I just got myself the Sony RX100 VII and I wanted a case I could quickly slide my camera in and out of. This one was well worth the investment. Nice quality and has a very secure button closure at the bottom. The case fits my camera like a glove. I definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quick-acess kind of protective case for their camera!!

[Shoulder Strap] This case is perfect ! I have the other Sony case as well not knowing this one existed. It fits perfectly and is super easy to use just flip the flap up and the camera slides out and you are ready to go. All in one piece unlike the other model (two pieces), which works great for transport but not so good for being out and about....
