Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this cable vinyl coated?

A: The ikan SW-04 Safety Cable is coated in a plastic liner.

Q: 2. Will this fit the cannon R6?

A: Yes it will. The Canon R6 has an HDMI D (micro) port.

Q: 3. What is the load capacity?

A: Ikan does not specify the rating. They only list it as 2mm.

Q: 4. will this work with the Sony a6500 to connect a 4k monitor?

A: Yes, this should work with your a6500.

Q: 5. How much does the entire package weights?

A: The Impact Safety Cable (18"), B&H # IMSC1.518, weighs about 0.07 lb.

Q: 6. Is there a coupler that connects two of these cables together for length that will not compromise the signal?

A: You would need an HDMI coupler.

Q: 7. What length makes more sense for gimbal or event rig(cageless) use. 17" or 3 footer? Is there any strain relief for this hdmi. I don't use a cage.

A: In most cases 17 inches is enough, 3 feet is usually too much, and some companies offer 2 foot cables for people that need something in the middle. ultimately you will need to do some measurements on your gimbal and or rig to determine which length works best for you. If the cable is longer than what you need many people rely on cable ties to not only keep their rig organized but relieve cable strain.

Q: 8. Transfer cable for Panasonic DC-ZS70 has been misplaced. Will this one work to transfer photos from this camera to USB ports on a CPU?

A: This is actually a HDMI cable to send a video feed to a TV / Monitor. You will need a Micro-USB cable like B&H # PECUAMUMBM6Q to transfer files to a computer. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/825242-REG/Pearstone_USB_AMIB6_6_USB_2_0_Type.html

Q: 9. are these Pneumatic or Foam Filled tires?

A: The Backstage Equipment Super Duz-All Mini Cart BH #BAG02MINI features pneumatic tires.

Q: 10. can you download photos from r6 to computer with this cable?

A: If you are looking to transfer photos from your Canon R6 to your computer, you will need a USB-C cable. A HDMI cable like the one you provided is only meant to send a Video Feed to a TV / Monitor.

[Steel] I do panoramic photography, often shooting from a pole. In the last 6 months I have had 2 cameras slip out of apparently well tightened arca-style clamps and fall. So now I am using this fine little safety cable religiously. I leave one of these cables permanently attached to each of my pano heads. The little extra time it takes to clip the cable to the camera's strap ring is nothing compared to the peace of mind it creates.

[0.02 lb] I use this as extra security when I put speedlites on remote clamps and also my camera when it is attached to my monopod (quick release). It is extremely flexible and unobtrusive. It is thinner than I thought it would be. Probable around 20 gauge or so. I suspect it will support around 4 lbs.

[6 x 5 x 0.1"] Buy 10 to have around. Would bet on this cable with 90% of my kit unless you have something really heavy.
