A: I bought this, it did not come with a cable that works in firing the A-58 shutter (2 cables that did come with it don't help), I ordered the special cable (BH# VERCCS225) that will actually connect it to my camera - hope it works when I receive that.

[0.05 lb] The Acratech fit is perfect, and at a competitive price. The plate doesn't block the LCD, and doesn't slip or rotate when the camera is in portrait orientation on the Acratech GP ball head in gimbal mode, even with a heavy flash on the hots shoe. 5

[0.05 lb] After years of my camera sliding on the clamp in portrait mode, my camera is now sturdily mounted. I do suggest carrying the hex wrench in your bag at first; I had not tightened it sufficiently the first time out. 5

[0.05 lb] This seems solidly built for the price, in my case connects nicely to my Nikon D850. You do need an Allen wrench to connect it to your camera, and thankfully one is included. You cannot tighten it by hand, so if it loosens in the field, make sure the wrench is somewhere in your camera bag. 5
