Q: 1. Does the top cover section over hot shoe “flip up“ to allow a speed light, etc. connection? Do various size camera bottom “plates” still fit (for,say, use with a companion tripod mounted quick release base attached to the tripod)?

A: You can move the rubber shoe cover out of the way to allow for a speedlight but it will be kind of awkward in use but it is possible. You can attach a quick release plate to the bottom when using the cover.

Q: 2. Will this work with the L Bracket?

A: This is only meant for use with the D810 only.

Q: 3. I had purchased an older version of this holder for my D5600. It didn't work if you had two EN-EL-14a batteries in it. It did work with one battery, probably due to the firmware in the batteries. Has this been fixed and tested in this new model? Same question for the AA holder with the D5600.

A: There is no issue when using the AA holder or 2 lithium batteries.

A: Yes it will. The cages fit pretty close to the body.

A: No, there are no issues using AA batteries with the Vello BG-N16-2 Battery Grip for Nikon D5500 & D5600 DSLR Cameras. This does not damage the camera in any way.

A: I'm sorry, no, it is not compatible with battery grips.

A: No it will not. The body shape of the d7500 and d7200 are different.

A: Unfortunately, the SleekGuard Silicone Camera Skin would be only be suitable for use with the Sony A1 without a vertical grip attached. However, it will work fine with an L-bracket.

A: My screen protector purchased for Canon M5. Screen on this model always exposed .
