Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. the pedal is doing the opposite. It sustains when I don't press and vice versa. What should I do to fix the problem?

A: Your keyboard appears to be expecting the opposite polarity for the pedal. See if there is a switch on the pedal itself to reverse polarity, or if you can change this setting on your keyboard. I would expect that the pedal would work correctly out of the box with a Kawai piano, but who knows if a polarity setting could have been changed. Definitely sounds like a simple polarity issue, though, which could certainly arise out of the box if you are using the pedal with another brand of keyboard, because the polarity convention varies among manufacturers.

Q: 2. Hello,Can you connect a microphone to this pedal?

A: The RC-1 Loop Station Pedal is designed for connection of electric guitar, bass, or another instrument such as a keyboard or FX unit via 1/4 jacks. It does not support microphone input.

Q: 10. Could this be compatible with a Yamaha P121?

A: I'm sorry, but the Kawai F20 double pedal will not work together with a Yamaha P121. [500 kOhms] Zoom knocks it out of the park with every product they make. I needed a volume pedal. This multieffects unit cost less than a volume pedal. Plus it gives me a looper, drum machine, and multieffects.

This pedal provides a studio quality effect unit for the price range. I don't play out live so I don't know what the noise level of this pedal is like under stage conditions. I also bought the Zoom MS-50G which is a higher quality pedal but not as fun. The MS1 has knobs and switches for effective realtime control.

It is very easy and faster to write and customize effects compared to the MS-50G. Both pedals are great.

[0 dBm] First, I love this item . I have a Roland GR55 now. When I have access to AC power, I have a ball with it.
But,
I busk in my town’s Main Street where AC power is not available. Granted, the SY-1 isn’t as sophisticated and the GR 55, but now I can expand my guitars palette of tones.

I had been searching for this item for months. All the typical outlets kept pushing their in stock dates forward in time. I even made a purchase of the SY-1 on eBay, only to have the seller cancel the sale for no apparent reason.
I searched again and saw it listed on B&H. It said it was in stock. I called and was told it was in inventory. A few days later it was in my hands .

Cannot Be too positive about my experience with B&H. They came thru..hands down.

I have shopped with them before, but now, they are my first go to place for music gear.

THANK YOU!!

[0.695 lb] The MS-50G pedal is first class. It is every bit as clean, quiet, and well built as the Boss pedals. It is not a replacement for the Boss line. Zoom pedals have a character of their own. Personally, I like the Zoom tone. But I'm not a guitar player.

There is a great ~15 minute YouTube instructional video for the MS-50G. I got over the learning curve for writing and storing effects by watching this video, then I bought pedal.

It replaces several pieces of my high quality studio gear when I need fast results that are of high level audio quality.

Zoom delivers with this product. After I watched this video I purchased the pedal. I also like my G1X as a companion to this pedal. The G1X has a nice volume/expression pedal.

[500 kOhms] For a pedal that's been around for years, it's very high quality/price ratio. Probably the king of all the budget multi-effect options out there. The interface does take some getting used to, but the sounds you can create with it are solid.

[0.695 lb] Guests arrive to record, forgot their pedal, no problem! If the polarity is wrong for that keyboard, just switch it on the bottom. The cloudy white plastic thing pops right off if you want - seems to just be a protector for the metal finish.

[10 kOhms] I needed something for my living room and practicing while watching TV late at night without a full pedal board or multi-effects box. This along with a Boss RC-3 and a mini mixer for my wireless headphones provides everything I have in my studio at a mini level. The sounds are good enough. There are enough options in sound to play most anything. Eventually I'll try this little beast as a sub for my full pedal board and see how it works in a live jam. One pedal to do everything. It's not perfect but it is great. I wish Zoom would provide updates to it and a better manager. It's pretty old by today's standards and if Zoom provided updated files they would sell even more if these great little boxes.
B&H had the best deal available and as always they provide excellent service. Thank you B&H. I'll Be Back, lol
