[0.07 lb] I bought a lens Sigma ART 35mm without a hood. Then I bought a lens hood, but it was old and did not hold well, the plastic fasteners were worn out. I had to buy a new one, it was not much more expensive.

[0.07 lb] I purchased this lens for Astrophotography, however have not been able to use it yet because of the Monsoons. This lens is mounted on my Nikon D810, and it is as sharp as any of my Nikon lens, compared to my 16-35mm f/4 I was blown away at how much sharper it was than the Nikon 16-35mm. This lens out of the box had quite a bit of front focus, but was easy to correct with my Lens Align Kit. What I have read most of the Sigma lens have alot of front focus to them, do not know why but my copy also was front focusing. I am very happy with this lens, and can wait to shoot the Milky Way when I gets some clear skys.

[0.07 lb] I purchased this lens as a wedding photographer. The Nikon 24G was a little out of my price range and I know I didn't need autofocus speeds like that of the 70-200 2.8s. Yes, it's not as zippy as the zippiest but it's not slow. Ive used the 85LII on Canon and the 24 Art blows that out of the water for speed. At $900 I think it's a steal given the quality of this lens. Highly Recommended!

[0.07 lb] from the second I unboxed this I instantly felt in love. It feels very solid on hand and gives excellent speed, color and sharpness. very impressed.

[0.07 lb] Drop dead beautiful lens. great 'for low light work and fast street photography. f1.4 gives a great bright viewfinder image. Razor sharp with only a little vignetting at f1.4 (no big deal). The lens is built like a tank and is heavy, but you can feel the build quality. it's worth the price and is as good as lenses at twice the price.

[0.07 lb] I've got a Canon R5 and I'm fully in love with it. I've been wanting a nice large-aperture wide-angle prime for both some astigmatism-free astrophotography as well as a nice larger-angle high-bokeh lens for taking candids. Canon is being *quite* slow in introducing RF prime options, but my experience with other Sigma Art EF options with the R5 (85mm f/1.4, 14-24 f/2.8) led me to try this lens out. It has *beautiful* bokeh, and low astigmatism for astrophotography. Even with the RF-EF adaptor it feels very pleasant to carry on the camera body. This is *definitely* a new favourite, and I can't wait to shoot more with it!
