The Da-Lite 85410 Model C Manual Projection Screen 60x80is a perfect choice for either a large lecture or seminar hall, or conference/training room. The screen is designed for heavy use and features lubricated steel ball bearings for a smooth operating system. The screen is accessed via a pull cord.

The CSR mechanism was designed to provide a smooth and safe way for the screen to be retracted into its case. This kind of consistent operation ensures a longer life for the screen. Screens with CSR must be fully extended since there are no intermediate stopping positions.

As an option, you can purchase the screen in any one of seven veneer finishes to give it a more professional, finished appearance. If you prefer not to choose a veneer or laminate, the screen will come with a white casing. In addition, you can also purchase floating brackets which allow the screen to be either wall or ceiling mounted but which also give you the freedom to align the system left/right.

A: No, I am sorry. It is only meant to be hung on a wall with the included mounting hardware.

A: The screen is made for indoor wall or ceiling mounted use.

Q: 5. Can this screen be used for a 16:9 image or does it have to be 4:3?

A: It is made for a 4:3 ratio. If using 16:9, you would not be able to fill the screen. Also picture being smaller.

Q: 6. are these rear projection?

A: The Da-Lite 36633 Drapery Kit for Fast-Fold Truss Projection Screen (8'6" x 14"), B&H # DA36633, comes in multiple pieces, and would not obscure the screen it's used with. It would technically be compatible with a rear-projection setup, but it is intended for a front-projection setup, as the dark material will absorb ambient or reflected light.

A: About 500 lbs.

Q: 9. How much black drop on the top of the screen does it have?

A: The standard is 2" drop. However it can be ordered with more, up to a total of 156" with the screen. So an extra 67" more drop can be added.

Q: 10. can this screen be used for rear projection?

A: Yes, this particular model, the Da-Lite 35177L Contour Electrol Motorized Projection Screen (90 x 160"), B&H # DA35177L, comes with a Da-Tex finish, which is a surface made for rear projection. Other Da-Lite projection screens may not have this rear projection finish.

[95 x 8 x 6"] I use the Da-Lite Floor Model C on a stage for school presentations. It provides a quality solution where other screen mounting options ate not available. The screen is well supported and flat for a great presentation. The 9'x9' screen size is not excessively heavy or unwieldily to store. 5

[95 x 8 x 6"] Screen is being used in a 40 x 40 foot room with a 7.2 theater system. The projection screen is over the stage and is long enough to extend down and up out of the way when not in use. If the light were not in the way, I could have moved the screen even higher. 5

[47.5 lb] We purchased the Screen and the matching base. Easy to deploy, and rock solid. We used it under a canopy, for an interactive (laser based) Simulator, at a Senior Management Industry Conference. It is definitely a Professional grade tool - and was a key component of a successful exhibit. We did not expect to pay so much for the screen and base, not to mention the huge shipment costs - BUT, it was well worth the investment. The screen (and the base) are sturdy and we expect that it will provide years of service. 5
