A: Yes it will. The cages fit pretty close to the body.

A: These camera skins don't allow the battery grip to tighten entirely to the bottom of the camera. Some people will modify (cut) the bottom so it fits better but it's not recommended.

A: I also shoot with a Nikon D7000 and all my Nikon lens fit and work on both cameras with no problem.

Q: 9. Does the top cover section over hot shoe “flip up“ to allow a speed light, etc. connection? Do various size camera bottom “plates” still fit (for,say, use with a companion tripod mounted quick release base attached to the tripod)?

A: You can move the rubber shoe cover out of the way to allow for a speedlight but it will be kind of awkward in use but it is possible. You can attach a quick release plate to the bottom when using the cover.

[Yellow] The M50 has a slick and cheap plasticky feel to it. It has slipped out of my hands many times and hit the floor hard. Luckily, it is still durable. This cover gives the camera a new look. And, makes it easier to hold onto. The button functions and dials are still easily controlled. It makes my M50 feel like more of a premium camera. 5

[Yellow] Okay.. honesty.. a few problems but it's because everything is designed by the specs of the camera and not the specs of the camera with this skin on it. It can be trying to get on a tripod as the screw is short, but I can. The biggest problem is that there are so many buttons (that press just find and can be located just fine) but you can't see the labels and hence I've more than once just started pressing buttons wondering Is this it?.. so memorize your buttons. other than that, it's all good. 5
