A: The Sweet 35 optic is an insert that is used with a Lensbaby lens. Basically anything labeled as an optic from Lensbaby is a lens that inserts and locks into the lensbaby mount/lens. You only need one mount then almost any optic will fit. For more information about the Lensbaby system you should search for them and look at the Compser or Muse without an optic.You can also buy and other Lensbaby from B&H, such as the Sweet 50 and the Sweet 50 optic can be removed and the Sweet 35 inserted into thta base.The Canon 70D uses the APS-C format so the image area is smaller than a full frame (such as the 6D). This will crop out the edges so the effect may not be as controlable as with a full frame. The APS-C works to our advantage when using a telelphoto because it only uses the center of the image so in effect magnifies the image. However it works against us when using a EF wide angle lens. The EF lens might be rated at 35mm but your field of vision in the cmaera is more like 50mm. This is also true with the Lensbaby. It is and EF so works best on a full frame. If you want a good wide angle look for EF-S lens. Then a 35mm wide angle lens is a true 35mm.I learned these lessons the hard way.
