The 100' fiber thunderbolt 3 cablefeatures a tight-buffered, round cable with 36" aqua fanouts, SC connectors, and a Schill fiber optic reel. The cable is designed for broadcast and audio deployments in indoor and extreme terrain outdoor settings. It is multi-stage machine polished and tested for < -55 dB return loss. Diagnostics documentation is supplied for each channel. The reel features a connector protection cavity, a hinged latching door, and it fully supports the required bend radius.

The cable features a polyurethane outer sheath, thick layer of aramid strength members, helically stranded core for flexibility and survivability, and mechanical optical fiber protection. It is built to withstand chemicals, cuts, abrasions, and crushing by vehicles as heavy as military tanks. It can be used directly on the ground in harsh terrain, such as mining environments.

A: That may depend on several factors but Apple advises that you always use the correct power adapter to charge your MacBook Pro. From their support page, "You should use the appropriate wattage power adapter for your Mac notebook. You can use a compatible higher wattage power adapter without issue, but it won't make your computer charge faster or operate differently. If you use a power adapter that is lower in wattage than the adapter that came with your Mac, it won't provide enough power to your computer." That noted, you can use a lower wattage adapter (low to a certain point) and it will charge a MacBook Pro but slowly. In this case, the OWC "dock can deliver up to 90W" which is lower than the 96 W needed. Another thing to note is that not all Thunderbolt cables have the same power rating. We carry Thunderbolt cables with 10 W, 60 W, and 100 W ratings so you will need to look for that too.

I don't use it for data transfer every day but when I did, it was extremely fast. The material is of premium feeling and suits my standards for durability. I am not treating it extremely harsh but for the occasional harsh pulls and tugs, the connectors and the cables showed no signs of tear. If you are looking for a all in one usb-c cable for everything. 5

Didn’t want to spend almost twice as much for Apple and I didn’t need to! This does everything the Apple version does. Full speed for everything I did, love the fast transfers! Charging is so much faster now too! The cord is well-built and sturdy. Highly recommend! 5

A substantial cable in weight, the cable has a high quality feel to it. I can tug on it and coil it up to store it and I have had no issues with it. [4x SC] I'm using this Thunderbolt 4 Cable with my MacBook Air. I tested using both, BULK small file transfers such as music that I copied from my iTunes to my M.2 drive which is what's connected to this cable, about 4,000 music files. It performed as fast as it did when transferring large video files. Usually, with regular drives and cables, it takes longer when transferring a bulk of small files than a single video file regardless of its size. With this cable, it doesn't seem to matter much. Data just flies. I'm happy with this cable and it does what I want. Fast file transfer. Either case, with transferring the files I mentioned above, I screenshot it. It was difficult a little since it transfer files so fast, I had to choose a large folder so I can keep up with the speed allowing enough time for me to screenshot it. [4x SC] This cable makes super-fast data transfers. I hooked it up to my Xcellon M2NS USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 M.2 SSD Enclosure and was very impressed with the speeds it provided. This cable and an M.2 drive are a match made in heaven and give blazing speeds. It also rated for 8k or dual 4k monitor support which is fantastic. Another nice plus is it is rated to handle 240w power delivery so it can be used to charge or power most accessories (laptops, peripherals etc.). This cable is definitely future proof and ready for whatever you throw at it, including the ability to daisy chain up to 6 additional devices. It is designed to work with Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, and USB-C so it is very versatile. The build quality is also fantastic. Cable feels great and is flexible but still sturdy.
