The opticalCON QUAD cable connector accommodates PC optical channels based on conventional and proven LC connectivity protected by a ruggedized and durable all-metal housing. It features a spring loaded push-pull locking mechanism and an excellent cable retention utilizing aramid yarn. The optical connection is exceptional well protected against dirt and dust by an automatically operated sealing cover.

A: The Optical Cables by Corning Thunderbolt Optical Cable (33') B&H # OPCVP010MAN only works with devices that have their own power supply and does not provide bus power. The Akitio Thunder2 Quad, Highpoint Rocketstor 6314A and Pegasus2 R4 all have their own power supplies so it would work with those devices no problem.

[43.23 lb] Finally the product you can rely on, it's an omni directional, high bandwidth active optical HDMI cable for modern UHD devices. I use it with my gaming rig, sending a 2nd screen option to an LG OLED TV for large screen 4K 120Hz gaming sessions . I tried other brands before and sent back for a refund but the buck stops here. This cable does it all, eARC, HDMI 2.1, 8K 60Hz or 4K 120Hz for XBoX Series X, PS5 or RTX 4080 long distance run. 5

[Polyurethane] As a digital cable, it either works or it doesn't. This works as it should. I was pleasantly surprised how thin the cable is. 5

[43.23 lb] It works! Not much more to say here, it says what it does and does what it says. This is a fairly gossamer cable, there not a lot of jacketing material here compared to other Toslink cables I own. It might not be the best if it is subject to abrasion in your use, but for a static run, it's great. 5

[43.23 lb] I can't believe an $8 cable was all I needed to hear Netflix/YouTube through my surround-sound system. After years of thinking I needed an AV specialist to diagnose my system, I was able to DIM (do-it-myself). Easy install and sounds great. I also appreciate the other reviewer who reminded me to remove the tip protectors first. 5

[Polyurethane] For a simple cord and living on an island where the cable itself would carry a 10.00+ add on cost of shipping and store front leasing costs. This was a savior add-on in connecting a sound bar up to a limited number of hdmi input/output tv. Yes, I would recommend this product for anybody that is new to upgrading their sound/entertainment systems. 5

[43.23 lb] Purchased this cable because of features and price, to replace an older, low quality cable connecting a Sony PS3 to a 60 Samsung LED television. The picture using the old cable was low quality with frequent jumps and skips when watching both DVD's and online content. This new cable eliminated this problem. I can think of no cons about this cable. 5

[Polyurethane] Used this for an in-wall install. Fits through a one inch conduit and is flexible. Strong socket grip. Comes in a thick reusable bag. Linked laptop to ceiling projector. Clean picture at a variety of resolutions. 5
