The 1' long Multimode LC Fiber Optic 1x2 Splitter Cable from Camplex is an OM3 50u fused passive splitter that offers a handy solution to split optical signal for routing to multiple devices, inputs, or patch panels when used with a Neutrik NZPFD-2 (not included). This 1x2 splitter cable provides a 100 to 50/50 split and is designed to operate with 850 and/or 1300nm.

A: No, all outputs should not blink when only one device is connected. As each device is plugged in, the LED light next to it will turn on and stay on continuously.

A: This will not support cables that are longer than 50 feet. However HDMI cables in general start to lose quality once you go past 35 feet. For runs of 50 feet and longer we suggest HDMI extenders from companies like KanexPro and Avenview. They will send a signal as far as 300 feet over a Cat6 cable.

A: Yes, the KanexPro 1x2 HDMI Splitter will send the signal coming in to two different destinations. You can use this to split video signal coming from your set top box to two destinations.

Q: 4. can i use this to connect multiple displays to my laptop? If so, will I be able to view separate applications on each monitor; not mirrored?

A: This only mirrors the display, you do not have the ability to configure screens separately.

A: This is a 1 x 2 HDMI Splitter. It will take a single HDMI input and output the same exact signal to two monitors.

A: Absolutely, can't think of any reason why you couldn't

A: The Kanex Pro 1x2 HDMI Splitter does not create a new source but rather splits one HDMI input into two HDMI outputs.

A: No. But it is a fabulous device. It switches automatically when I connect a new device and it really enhances the picture.

Q: 9. Does this work only with a monitor or with a TV as well?

A: Yes, this will work with a TV as well as a monitor.

We have an Extron matrix router to feed numerous presentation monitors, and two of its outputs failed. The KanexPro saved the day! Best to keep several extra in your inventory. 5

[15.9 oz (453 g)] 1/17/2024 To ALL OF YOU I use this KanexPro 1x2 HDMI Splitter on the on-camera monitor on the monitor of the computer screen with a both HDMI cable from the NIKON D3200 DSLR camera's output to the front of an HDMI splitter to the on-camera monitor and the computer monitor, they are both work perfect, even there's NO problems AT ALL with them. This is my favorite hobby is audio/video post-production about making a film/video. 5
