The video switcher controllerfrom video switcher controllersupports resolutions up to 1080p and features four inputs and two outputs for S-Video, composite video, and stereo RCA audio. Because it is a matrix switcher, any of the inputs can be routed to any of the outputs, making it well suited for multi-display installations. It is 1 RU in height and is mountable in standard 19" racks using optional rack ears (sold separately). Control is provided via front selection push buttons with LED readout, or infrared remote controller.

A: The Roland V-1200HD-SYS Video Switcher is not really designed as a matrix switcher. However, you recall scene presets of various matrix configurations as well as perform routing functions.

[4.85 lb] This unit has just the right amount of features at a great price. Love having both HDMI (2) and SDI (4) inputs. Love having the built in screen plus outputs for multi, pgrm, and aux! Having one down and one up stream key plus the extra logo/bug key creates flexibility. Two audio inputs plus the one main output make it easy to integrate equipment or with other audio systems; would have preferred XLR connections, but good 1/8 TRS adapters work just fine. Unit can stream by USB-C tethering or RJ45 direct to host. The unit easily mixed inputs of differing resolutions, and broadcasting or recording at 1080p60 is more than adequate. If you don't need 4K, this is a great piece of gear to have. The only con I found was when streaming by USB-C tethering, you cannot record to the CF on the unit. You have to record on the device you are tethered to. Very happy with this purchase. 5

[50 Hz or 60 Hz] The SB-5440 solved my RCA switching problems. The unit is of very solid build. Great quality switches and connectors. No pops when used. Unit is quiet and just feels professional. This replaced my Rotary passive selector, which at times would pop while selecting. No more, the Shinybow works flawlessly. I thought it a bit pricey, but I see now it was good value, it's a pleasure to have good, solid equipment in my system, working properly everyday. 5

[38 kHz] I went with this over the Blackmagic Atem Minis because it doesn't need a computer to get to the menu. It's a little easier to mix audio as well. Literally press the audio button for the source you want to adjust, press vol + or vol - and it's done. 5

[12 VDC, 1 A] In our DIY built video studio I use this switch to easily jump from Audio input to Audio input to a single headphone. I had used a cluster of AB switches that just got replaced with this switch. Life is good. The price is right and the performance is excellent. 5

[50 Hz or 60 Hz] I'm an old time video guy - if you had told me 20 years ago that I could by a 4x2 Matrix switcher for under $200 I'd say you are crazy. This thing is super easy to use and looks great. Fantastic product! 5

[12 VDC, 1 A] Amazing capabilities for a small switcher. Works perfectly with HDMI out from Mac laptop and SDI from my Sony cameras. Small, compact and does the job perfectly. Only addition I would recommend is a balanced audio input but workaround is relatively easy. Small form factor is a plus. No issues. 5

[50 Hz or 60 Hz] I had two problems to solve. I wanted to be able to switch between game consoles without turning my entire CRT around to access the S-video port in the back. I also wanted a splitter to output to a capture card for live streams. This does both those things, and it does so without any noticeable loss in quality or added latency, at least to my eyes. 5

[13 x 10.4 x 3"] The mixer fits perfectly inside the custom cut foam. The quality of case is as you'd expect from SKB. There is a small space underneath mixer for power adaptor. Overall very pleased with the protection it offers. Would definitely recommend. Shipped to UK in 5 days aswell. 5

[50 Hz or 60 Hz] I use a Logitec Harmony hub control for TV, cable TV, Netflix, music from Internet sent to amplifier and speakers, etc. The Shynybow selector (love that name) has very little conflict with other IR controlled devices, a problem I had with previous audio or AV switches. Out of the 4 inputs, only input no 1 control would conflict with the TV on/off. That left inputs 2,3,4 for which IR commands did not interfere with other devices (I only need 2 inputs in my setup). Great. Works well. 5
