[5600K] Very well-made product form Godox specifically made for the MF12 Macro Flash. Easy to install and remove from the flash head. Very satisfy with the cold shoe adapter.

[PC] I'm a general dentist and switching from a Canon DSLR to a Sony mirrorless setup. I have used a ring flash and twin flashes on a bracket, but this setup is better than both. It is very easy to position the flashes and get consistent photos. The diffusers are great and give an ideal soft light. Definitely recommend this for someone looking to up their dental photography game. It has everything you need, and is less expensive than buying it all separately.

[4x AA] Godox Mf12 macro flashes are FABULOUS!!!!! I shoot macro exclusively and the Godox macro flash kit provides SHADOW FREE stacks with accurate color and white balance . One flash unit set at the one o'clock ring position and the other set at the ten o'clock position - 1/16 manual power. Easy set-up and, once synced with my Godox XPROC trigger, perfect flashes every time.

[PC] A bit of a learning curve when using the XProN controller, but these guys work well. I recommend non-recyclable batteries though. My tests show they are much more reliable than recycles (though I hate to admit it).

[PC] I have purchased a different brand of generic flash, but this one has proven to be the best onefar. It holds the charge for a long time, and the adaptors that came with the flash make it worthwhile for any purpose. I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it.

[Manual] I have struggled with getting the lighting right on my macro shots. This setup is perfect and allows me to get the exact light in the right places.

[Manual] These little usb chargable flashes are in my huge location lighting kit. I use them for complex environmental portraits and shooting rooms or other indoor environments in specific cases.

Specifically they come in most handy when i want to throw a tiny amount of light onto something in a scene but there is no other way to get a light stand or strobe in that spot. They can be hidden within the scene and can put little pockets of light hard to light spots.

My favorite use is inside lamp shades with a 1/2 or full CTO gel. When i am using my own flashes to light an environment and i want a lamp to still appear as if it is "turned on" I can just tape one of these inside the lamp shade.

The little stem also has a 1/4 20 socket on the bottom so you can screw them onto lightstands, or studs or clamps as well if you want.

Haven't used them a single time for close up macro work but they are a great little tool to keep in your bag for creative problem solving.

[5600K] Let me preface the review by stating I hate the Nikon R1C1 system because the flashes always had problems and it grossly overpriced. My Bolt VM-160 ringlight served me well but I was never happy with the quality of light but for the price, as I said, it served me well. This MF12 system is a macro dream. The flashes are rechargable which I didn't think would be good but can easily handle 300-500 shots which is a standard macro outing. I can't praise this system enough. It is the best I've used yet.
