Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this fit Yamaha DGX 660?

A: I purchased this for my 660. It will fit but you will need to remove the sheet music stand each time you use the cover I ended up using a old bed sheet.

Q: 2. Best case for Yamaha p255 keyboard?

A: This is an excellent low-cost soft bag for the Yamaha p255 digital piano. Better choices I would recommend would be hard cases: SKB R6020W 88 Note Keyboard Case B&H # SKR6020W

Q: 3. Can the key lights be controlled via MIDI like another voice? What is the address?

A: No, the key lights on the Casio LK-S450 61-Key Touch-Sensitive Portable Keyboard will light up to show the correct notes when playing a MIDI song file, but are not able to be controlled like another voice via MIDI. You can select a song from the factory presets or user presets, or use the free Chordana app for iOS or Android to play MIDI files.

Q: 4. Does this unit work well with Davinci Resolve?

A: Yes, the X-keys X-Keys XK-60 USB Programmable Keyboard BH #XK60FGK works very well with Davinci Resolve once you have programmed it.

Q: 5. What is the length and width of this item?

A: According to the manufacturer's website these are the dimensions: Interior 58.5" x 15" x 5.1" Exterior 59.9" x 16.5" x 6.3" Accessory pocket 28" x 12" x 2"

Q: 6. Does this keyboard store macros onboard or do they rely on the software being installed on the computer? I use Linux, but it seems they can only be programmed with windows.

A: Hi Ross, Very sorry for the ridiculously delayed reply! We are new to the Bazaarvoice as of this month, I am saddened to see that none of our re-sellers responded to this. We can operate in software mode or hardware mode. In hardware mode the macros are stored directly on the device. You can view more details on our website: https://xkeys.com/software.html

Q: 7. Does this have an auxiliary output jack that you can plug into headphones or a boom box?

A: No, the Keystation 88 is a MIDI keyboard controller which has digital ports for USB and MIDI, but it does not have any analog inputs or outputs to connect a boom box or headphones. You can connect headphones to your computer for monitoring. If you want a more traditional keyboard that is a similar size and in the same general price range, you may like the Alesis Concert 88-Key Digital Piano with Full-Sized Keys (B&H # ALCONCERT) which has a stereo output for headphones, but no aux input. The Artesia PE-88 Portable Digital Piano / Arranger Keyboard (B&H # ARPE88) which has headphone and line outputs, stereo aux input and a microphone input. We do have more options for other models listed with our portable keyboards. Please contact us by phone or through live chat on the website for further assistance.

Q: 8. Does it supports ableton live 10 ?

A: Nektar DAW Integration for the Impact GXP88 does not currently support Ableton, but it can be used as a simple control surface for Ableton Live 10.

Q: 9. The description says the item is non-cancelable, and non-returnable. I am thinking seriously of buying one, but am confused about how a non-returnable item has a limited 1yr warranty. Is this not a contradiction, somehow?

A: Most electronics nowadays carry a limited 1 year warranty. The non-cancelable, non-returnable restriction is because the StudioLogic SL88 Studio is not a regularly stocked product, and because it would be ordered for a specific customer, and not the general public, it can not be returned.

Q: 10. does the yamaha DGX 670 fit in this bag?

A: Yes, the Yamaha DGX-670 88-Key Portable Digital Grand Piano will fit within the Yamaha YBA-881 Artiste Series Keyboard Bag for 88-Key Portable Keyboards.

[Wired] Exactly as advertised. Now I don't have to use the octave jump button on the small 41 key synths. ;)

[USB-A] It's a keyboard cover that fits and therefore works. Using it on a Kurzweil sp2x.

[, Blue] The M-Audio Keystation 88 MK3 88-Key keyboard is a great value in terms of features vs. price. It comes with a free DAW, as well as other tools to help you get started with recording. The semi-weighted keys feel decent for what they are and won't take long to get used to if coming from a GHS action keyboard. It's also light enough to easily move around, and the number of plugins and software options it interfaces with is vast.

[1 Million] The Hammer 88 is a no frills MIDI controller with a nice weighted action. Construction seems solid. A pretty good buy for the price.

[Wired] I am throughly please with this keyboard midi controller. The action is so much like a regular piano. The build is a good quality, and while it doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles (which can sometimes get in the way), it performs flawlessly. This keyboard is worth twice the price. If you’re thinking of buying it, do it.

[170 g] A huge step up from the semi-weighted and spring-action keyboards I'm used to. Built solid, with a metal top and some sort of heavy-density material on the bottom, very rigid and hefty. Plastic but not hollow-feeling keys. The action is definitely on the heavy side which I like. The keys don't make a clicky racket like the Keystation 88. Wheels and buttons are good quality, slider is just OK. Mine came with a slight dent in the metal top, apparently a manufacturing defect because the packaging was undamaged and there's no sign of impact. Not a deal breaker in my case and virtually invisible. Firmware update is available and installed easily. Preset editor utility is handy and intuitive. As I knew going in, no pedals or AC adapter are included. Didn't try the software because I have my own. Heavy, 38lbs., and given its weight and lack of onboard sounds, it wouldn't be my first choice for a gigging keyboard. It's more like a digital piano, and if I could make a suggestion to M-Audio, I would like a dedicated digital piano-style stand with integrated pedal option.

[9] I've been playing piano for over 50 years now. And all types of keyboards over the last half century as they've evolved (Farfisa Compact, Hammond B3, Ensoniq, Fatar, Korg, etc.) But, I've always loved the piano the most. I owned a beautiful 6' Yamaha Grand for 25 years but had to get rid of it 10 years ago due to our downsizing to a smaller place; it took up a LOT of room. Since then, I've bought and subsequently donated a dozen or so other keyboards, which sounded good, but didn't have that true piano feel. Any pianist can close their eyes and tell you if it's a real piano, just by that feel. But, not with this baby! With the right software (True Pianos, Kontakt, Ominsphere, etc.) you can sound as good as ANY piano on this planet, AND you can do it with headphones if you want! But, the feel, the expression, is pure piano! Why is it perfect?; Price, Quality, Weight (it's very heavy!), Appearance (it's beautiful!), Simplicity (it's just a keyboard with no screen, and no internal sounds; my PC monitor and keyboard is in front of it), and most importantly - FEEL. It IS a real piano. Just close your eyes and play....... It's perfect in every way. The last keyboard I will ever need and own!!!

[Wired] Nice cover I should have got long ago. Fits nicely over FA-08 and has an attached pocket that the cover can be stuffed into for travel if necessary.

[0.6 lb] The cover fits perfectly. When removed for playing piano, folds up easily for easy storage.
