[0.15 lb] I replaced a single NIC in an older Dell Optiplex that I use to run pfSense. It was recognized immediately and drivers were already present. Adopted immediately and after assigning the proper interface designations, it was up and running. I purchased this through B&H because I trust them to make sure it's actually in Intel card. While attempting this project, I have learned the hard way, that you get what you pay for. Trust B&H !!

[0.15 lb] It works. Dongle design is the better than straight adapter which may put strain on USB input jack on laptop.

[0.15 lb] Genuine Intel product verified by the bradyid website. Date of manufacture was the month prior to purchasing. You're not going to find a better adapter than this one supported by as many operating systems as this one. If you need a quad port gigabit NIC you shouldn't be considering any other product. You can buy from B&H with confidence. A lot of other online stores will sell you a knock-off product that is not as fast or stable as genuine Intel.

[0.15 lb] I'd recommend this genuine Intel i350-T4V2 PCI-E card for use with FreeBSD 11.1 when deploying LACP and Jumpframed wi the IBG kernal extension for the NIC.

Performance testing as file server = GOOD! with LAGG0 4 x NIC's bonded together with 9K Jumbo frames, testing with AFP, SMB and scp & rsync to ZFS raidZ2 file system with SSD Zip and ARC for pool. Client MacOS with DUAL and tri-bonded LACP with 9K jumbo frames.

No lockups on LAN!... great!.

Beware: el cheap #fakes cards from China the are 20% of the cost .. these are junk and are prone to lockups when heavily utilised. As well they cant be firmware upgraded..

Stuck with original Intel :)

[0.15 lb] When this bracket did its bracket thing, I was blown away. It literally fit the network adapter and bracketed like a boss. Who would have thought a bracket could bracket this well?

[0.15 lb] Although my internet speeds are slower than the more standard 1Ge speeds, I utilize the faster 2.5Ge speeds for my home network for PCs to talk together and to interface with my NAS unit. The NAS is native 2.5Ge. This card gets me the same on my PC, and also allows me to have separate networks for internet and my PC to PC to NAS. Although I haven't done any actual speed testing, my backup speeds and communication between PCs is noticeably faster without effecting my internet bandwidth, for a very reasonable price. Installation & setup was easy. I did use the provided disc to load the drivers, although I could have also downloaded them for use. In any case, I'm very happy with the purchase.
