[10.4 oz (295 g)] An essential add on to the FX9, even if you only do occasional hand-held. It's well made and very solid, but most importantly it allows you to put the camera down on its base whilst still attached to the camera. The sony arm cannot be swung out of the way which is a weird and frustrating design fault. The shape unit solves the problem elegantly. 5

[10.4 oz (295 g)] RAW files from the fp L are simply phenomenal. The color, resolution and just something else that brings it all together are amazing. After several hundred still images I'm still kind of shocked at how good they are. B&W conversions are excellent. Dynamic range is outstanding. Yes, the camera is quirky (with the excellent EVF) but it's fairly straightforward to use. It's compact, but of course the lenses can be big. So far, I've used it with the Sigma 14-24/2.8, 24/3.5, 35/2 and Leica SL 50/2. I shoot mostly landscapes, but I've also shot the dog and family without any weird electronic shutter artifacts. I wish the on/off button was a different format, but other than that there's not much else I'd change. The EVF is fiddly to attach, but I like having the option to not use it (I also love the flexibility to angle the EVF). Lots of superlatives in this review, but the fp L is that good. 5

[±1.5] The clarity and Tech built in on this camera is next level. Everyone that has seen it has gone WOW! I like how it Auto Frames the entire room of people by itself and requires no help from me. 5
