Realize the full potential of your digital darkroom with this 25-sheet pack of 11 x 17" 8 1/2 x 11 paperfrom Hahnemuehle. It has a 100% alpha cellulose base with a baryta (barium sulphate) coating that is reminiscent of traditional darkroom papers. This coating also works with the microporous ink-receiving layer for exceptional image sharpness with a wide color gamut and high Dmax. This makes the heavy 300 gsm paper well-suited for black & white imaging as well as color photography and fine art reproduction.

The paper itself benefits from the heft of a 14.6 mil thickness, an opacity of 98%, and a whiteness rated at 92%. This white coloration is achieved without the use of optical brightening agents for longevity. The paper is also acid free and calcium carbonate buffered for further longevity and is easy to handle thanks to its instant drying and very high water resistance. Additionally, it has a smooth satin-gloss surface finish.

Q: 2. Should I choose the Exhibition Fibre paper profile or Epson Luster, as some have mentioned? I'm using an Epson p600 printer. Many thanks!

A: You should use the profile for the given paper if Epson has it available. Although the Exhibition Fibre Paper from Epson has been changed recently. You might want to check that with Epson.

Q: 3. where can you download the ICC profiles for these? The epson site for the P800 seems to only have a few legacy papers

A: When I researched this question Epson told me that they only had a few ICC profiles. Its frustraiting and disappointing that Epson has limited ICC support. Ive used these papers with general settings like glossy and matte. Finally, I got RedRiver paper that offers ICC Profiles. Ive been happy with the result.

Q: 4. Before I order this - How do I know exactly which paper is which when I open the pack? Are they labeled? Are they in a specific order? Sometime things can be obvious, but sometimes the blank papers can be hard to tell apart ...

A: They are in separate clear packages Each clear package is labeled as to which paper it contains and which side to print on. Make sure to visit the Epsom web site and download the correct occur profiles for each paper. I really liked these paper and ended up purchasing a package of each.

Q: 5. ICC Profile QuestionsOK ... I've ordered and received my sample packs. My printer is an Epson Stylus Photo R3000. There are NO custom profiles for the printer and these papers (that I can find ...) For each paper in the pack: 1- Do I use MK or PK for my black ink? 2- What is the closest/best icc profile you can recommend? 3- Can I sheet feed these from the back, or should I load each individually from the front (similar to Epson Fine Art Velvet)? I'm looking forward to trying these papers, but I would like to know the best starting point for my printer/profile settings. Thanks!

A: I had to download the latest printer driver pack from the Epson web site to get the new ICCs for my P800. These papers should be fed from the front. If you use the ICC profiles from Epson, you will see that only the front feed can be selected. I wouldn't risk using the sheet feeder given the coat of these papers.

Q: 6. do you use photo black or matte black with this Epson fiber paper when printing on an Epson 4900 printer?

A: Exhibition Fiber paper by Epson is a semi-glossy paper that requires photo black ink.

Q: 7. Can this paper be used with an Epson R1900 printer? Many thanks.

A: Yes, Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper can be used with the Stylus R1900.

Q: 8. In the Signature Worthy Sample Pack, how do you tell which paper is which?

A: Each sheet of paper would come in its own sleeve with a label of the paper type

[3.05 lb] This is a fun way to add some colorful creative effects to your instant photography. The look can range from subtle to very pronounced depending on your subject and which filter you use from this pack. I say if you like the samples shown on the product package, you'll probably have a lot of fun with this. Included are two photos I made, one with the Austin filter and one with the Northern Lights filter. 5
