Anton Bauer has firmware built into their batteries that talk to the chargers If you attempt to charge other batteries on the charger it may stop charging without warning. It is best to charge this battery via the included D-Tap charger.

[0.155 lb] You just can't have the Sine Wave Invertor without a back up. Each battery gives you about 200 photographs at full blast on a 500 WS light. That's enough for one set up, so make sure you have another battery to power you through another one. Takes a few hours to recharge, so be sure to charge up overnight before your shoot! 5

[3.6 VDC] I purchased this for my Panasonic HDC-TM55 camcorder a while back as I needed a second battery in case some of my shoots went longer than one memory cards worth of charge. I have used this and it seems to work as well as the original battery. 5

[1700 mAh] I think this Battery is even better than the original version from Canon because the voltage is higher and it can hold more of a charge than the original Canon Battery ! It's a great buy at a great price ! Truly ! 5

[3.6 VDC] Work great. I like the built in charger though I have the Dracast dual charger I use with previous batteries. Contrary to another reviewer's comment, mine did come with a cable that plugs the unit into a wall socket to charge it. The USB socket will charge a phone, you need to punch in the button on the side for the USB to power up. Would be handy if they included an instruction sheet to explain this. 5

[3.6 VDC] I bought it about 2 months ago, so I can't comment on the longevity, but I like that it says they use high quality cells. So far, they work as good as the original, probably a little longer lasting too. 5

[3.6 VDC] I just had to replace 3 of my previous (4) Ion Inverter Batteries after 10 years of service and I was completely satisfied with them....so I bought 2 more. Still keeping the one good one as a backup. If you're seeking reliable, location power, you'll be very happy with these. And you can charge/power anything that requires clean power such as computers, tablets and phones, also. 5
