Q: 1. Best wireless/ wired remote for Sony a6000

A: I found this to b a nice remote. Seems to work fine. I had no problems with it.

A: It will do the job, however the big probem with it is that it won't fit in the SONY hot shoe. I have the A-65 and i order a stick on hot shoe and mounted it on top of the flash. This works OK but it is quite clumsy.

A: As long as you have a lens compatible with the A1's 30FPS & are shooting compressed RAW it should be able to shoot 30 fps.

Q: 4. Does the receiver need the hot shoe to work, or is that just a convenient place to put it?

A: No. It does not use the shoe for anything but a place to mount receiver. All remote controls go through the wire out to the 10 pin remote terminal on the front right top corner of the camera (Nikon D300S in my case). You can attach with rubber band or tape if you want to use a flash on the hot shoe at the same time.

Q: 5. Is it compatible with the Canon R6 mirrorless camera?

A: Yes, it takes a sub mini connection.

Q: 6. Is the connection cable coiled?

A: Yes.

Q: 7. Will this work on a Fuji X-T3? The X-T3 has a 2.5mm radio plug socket.

A: Yes

Q: 8. does it work with gx85?

A: Sorry, but the DMC-GX85 does not use wired remotes. Instead, any smartphone can be used. You do not need an app or a password if you want. The operation is outlined in the cameras manual.

Q: 9. Will this trigger a video shot on the D810 (or any other camera with video capability)? I assume so as long as the camera is set to video. Thanks.

A: nope it only triggers in photo mode not video.

Q: 10. What is the difference between the Vello Shutter Boss 3 and this wireless remote from Vello?

A: The Shutterboss III would offer an intervolmeter function which this FreeWave remote does not.

[10' (3 m)] I wanted a remote shutter for my Panasonic Lumix G95 camera. I preferred the Panasonic solution if possible. I can confirm this is compatible with the G95. Shutter works flawlessly for video and the extension cable is a great addition. I have only tested the shutter for video but it works exactly as desired. 5

[2.5 oz (71 g)] I purchased a motion sensor, trigger sometime ago. The trigger has a 90/94 degree cone of activation so unless you want the camera to go off with every little movement outside the lens view angle you need to set the sensor close to the target. With this cable I can setup the sensor next to the bird feeder while the camera is at some distance away (Birds are not aware that the camera is taking photos). With this setup the sensor only detects movement in the area you want and within the lens view angle. 5

[2.5 oz (71 g)] One of my photographic interests is light painting. To do that, I have to be able to use BULB mode to hold open the shutter while I shine light on my still life. Occasionally, if my still life is larger, I need keep my camera well back from the stage and the background, (which I light with a separate capture) is farther, still. Unfortunately, my arms aren't long enough - hence the need for this great ten-foot extension. It's great and works just as described. Now i can be as much as 13 feet from my camera and still hold open the shutter while I shine light on the background. 5

[0.09 lb] I ordered this (with trepidation) after reading the reviews here. I received it 2 days before expected delivery). And I was disappointed when it didn't work with my Canon 5DMark2 and RS-80N3 Remote Switch. I tried it 2 times before making sure that the connections were solid. It worked! I tested it shooting hummingbirds today. 5
