A: If I remember correctly, the glass and front are exactly the same. The only difference is the mounting on the back and the imperial focus marks on this one.

Q: 5. I am overly-cautious out due to recently getting a lens I was told fit but didn’t — does this lens work for the FX3?

A: Yes, the SLR Magic CINE 18mm f/2.8 Lens (Sony E-Mount) will fit on the Sony FX3. Sony E-mount and Sony FE mounts are the respective mounts that work on Sony mirrorless cameras natively.

Q: 6. Would this work with the SLR Magic rangefinder?

A: We're afraid not. This hood is specifically for SLR Magic's Anamorphot-CINE Lens, such as B&H # SLRAC50133PL.

Q: 7. How much weight can it hold? I am planning to attach an Atomos Shinobi 7 monitor with a smallrig cage. Will it manage to sustain such a weight at the angle I want?

A: According to the Kondor Blue website, this magic arm can support up to 50lb. You can use this with the Atomos Shinobi 7 with the Smallrig cage.

Q: 8. Pleas does this work with Kowa Anamorphic 16-H??

A: It does not. This only works with SLR Magic Anamorphot adapters.

Q: 9. Will this work on a Isco 1.9x anamorphic lens?

A: It would depend on the size of the front of the Isco 1.9x lens. Even if we knew the exact lens, this information seems to be unavailable since the lenses appear to be out of production since 2001. If it is 77mm or less (by using step down rings) it probably will work. However, without the two pieces in hand, we are unable to say for sure.

Q: 10. Will this work on a Panasonic LA7200 1.33x anamorphic lens? It has 77mm threads.

A: Well, in the chain of lenses , we have the taking lens (mounted to camera), the anamorphic lens (mounted to taking lens) and finally the SLR Rangefinder mounted to the anamorphic lens. This means that it would be necessary to find some way to mount the Rangefinder on the front of the LA7200; probably not easy and probably subject to vignetting. While there are other reasons besides the single focus capability to use the Rangefinder, be aware that one of the LA7200's great advantages is that is a focus through anamorphic; that is, the action of the taking lens focusing does the job. [10.6 oz / 300 g] I picked this up in a set of four SLR Magic MicroPrimes, and have not used it more than a week but so far I love its unique character. It is light-weight and easy to use on my A7SII hand-held, the focus ring is quick and works great even without follow-focus. The only thing is that when I first got this, I picked up in-person and tried it out with a Sony A7SIII in the store - and found the E-mount to be very resistant, hard to attach the lens all the way to click in. I returned it for a new one which attaches smoother but still there is more resistance than other SLR Magic MicroPrime lenses I got... I don't think this will affect the lens performance but just mentioning it. 5

[10.6 oz / 300 g] This is a great lens if you're looking to have some fun or working on some type of art project. Because its a manual focus, I wouldn't recommend this for a job where you need things to be sharp and crispy. That's one of the great things about this lens - it often brings about a softer image for photo and video because the focus never seems to be perfect. 5

[1.6 lb] I am in love with the 1.5 t stop, the wonder skin tones, the long lens feel of the 75mm wonder. This lens leaves the blue hue of Rokino in the dust. The images are sharper and the consistency of images in the 75mm, 50mm and 35mm have been outstanding. I do have 1 complaint about the lens it needs a variable ND filter on it for most of the ext. Shots. The lens is much brighter than my zeiss, Rokinon, and Sony lenses. The low light shooting is truly stunning. Whatever quality issue others have complained about seem to be resolved. This is a Cine lens that Photographers will love and every rental house should offer. Get yours today. 5

[10.5 x 7.4 x 3"] I’m using this to perfectly position my shotgun mic on the stand. The flexibility it provides allows me to aim it however I need. I’ve been using Kondor Blue stuff for a while, and never been disappointed. I coupled this with their quick release and now I have a solid connection I can quickly put together and break down after shoots. 5

[Duvetyn fabric] If you have Olive Oyle caliber arms you best pass on this one but other than that it's a gem. Yeah it's manual focus and no stabilization but it covers the field nicely when I extend it on the monopod for seagull view perspectives. And the gear ring knurls is something every lens needs to incorporate. Makes setting up in a rig so much cleaner. 5

[10.6 oz / 300 g] I shot a film with this 75mm cine lens and it looked awesome. It created a interesting cinematic look that none of my more expensive lenses could produce. I received a lot of compliments on the shots that I did using this lens. These lenses are also built like a tank unlike other still and cine lenses. 5
