A: This UPS uses 110v AC and a NEMA L5-30P connection.

A: Yes, there are assembly instructions included with the iStarUSA WD-460 Simple Server Rack.

Q: 6. What type of adapter do I need to plug this into a normal household (20amp) wall outlet?

A: Thank you for your interest in our products. It would depend on what type of outlets you have at your house. If they are 20 amp outlets then yes it would work. I would just confirm that the outlet is a 20 amp outlet because if it is a 15amp outlet it would derate the UPS.

A: This device comes with a 3-Year Repair or Replace (Excluding Battery) and 2-Year warranty for Battery.

A: Yes, the APC Smart-UPS X-Series 120V External Battery Pack Rack/Tower (Black) B&H # APSMX120RMBP is compatible with the SMX3000RMLV2U.

A: The APC Smart-UPS X 3000VA Rackmount/Tower 4RU with LCD (100-127V) has a power cable that's 8 feet long.

Q: 10. Does it include batteries or do they need to be bought separately?

A: This is the battery pack not the back up unit it self. You have to figure out how many watts and run time you need. If you want one with the battery in it you might look at the SMX2000LV for starters. It has batteries in it and will take up to 10 SMX120RMBP2U You are looking at right now. The SMX2000LV is 2000 watts max 1800 watts steady power. hope this helps Brian

[0.22 lb] This is a unique ATS that is designed to work with a compatible rack PDU that has an L6-30P input connector (such as an AP8641). With only two input connectors (L6-30P) and one output connectors (L6-30R), the back panel is a model of simplicity. The front panel is nearly identical to the AP4450, which is representative of APC’s newer design for ATS devices. A great device that will be the cornerstone of a superlative, redundant power system, when paired with two compatible UPSes. 5

[0.22 lb] We needed a PDU that we could reliable control and monitor on our corporate network. Using these has already saved us from riding across campus to reboot a camera or PC connected to them. Love this PDU and how easy it is to control on our network. 5

[0.22 lb] Over the years I have dealt with many different rack systems, thou not the largest, this by far is the most sturdiest built piece of equipment that I have ever seen. Really the only con that I could find while putting the cabinet together, was the treads of some of the bolt and screw holes were not cleaned properly after painting which makes for difficult screw inserting. This can be fixed easily enough by the end user if they insert the screw before hand, on certain parts like the side posts, to help alleviate the chances of cross threading. If your looking for something small enough to fin inside a small office, to drop a couple servers and more into this in my opinion is the perfect solution. 5

[0.22 lb] Bought this a year ago and its built like a tank. All doors are removable, and the swinging doors are fantastic. The top panel has really nice brush cutouts for running cabling. 5

[0.22 lb] I manage over 300 conference rooms on a private company campus. We utilize these PDUs to remote reboot equipment in an effort to resolve problems quickly and without sending a tech to interrupt a meeting in progress. These APCs have been very reliable for us on our network and have saved us time and effort where a simple reboot was all that was needed. 5
