Q: 7. How is this lens for night shooting? Will be traveling and would love some night shots. Only carrying ONE lens, I'm open for suggestions.

A: I am not a professional photographer, I love photography and I take my canon 60D everywhere. Most of the times I use the Sigma 18-200 f/3.5-6 DC to go everywhere, because it is compact, light weight and give me good quality photos. Daytime to sunset works fine, but for night shooting I find it slow. Ittakes longer to adjust on low light conditions, (canon lenses adjust a bit faster), besides when shooting 18 to 23 feet, I get shade at all four corners of that photo. Overall this lens is very good and worthed

Q: 8. I bought the Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM lens and it does not fit my Canon Rebel 4ti - could you tell me what connector I would have to buy for it to fit.

A: If you have a Canon Rebel 4Ti, which has a EF mount and you have a Sigma 18-200mm with an Canon EF-S mount, it will attach. You do not need any adapter. It sounds that maybe you have a lens with a different mount. Please contact B&H Customer Service. https://bhpho.to/2caRE5L

Q: 9. Would this lens work with my Nikon D3100? Thanks!

A: Yes the lens will work with the Nikon d3100. I bought the lens for my d7000. I absolutely LOVE this lens. I bought a d810 and I gave this lens to my daughter to use on her d3100 and she loves it. She is studying abroad in Paris and has taken beautiful pictures in Paris, Barcelona, Istanbul, and Ireland. This lens stays on her camera most of the time. I am waiting for Sigma to release a new lens like this in full frame. I hope this helps.

Q: 10. Does this work with the Nikon d3300? I ordered it and when I tried to couple it, there seemed to be resistance. Also, on the side of the box it says comparable with the Nikon d5300 but nothing about other bodies.

A: Thank you for your interest in Sigma products. The 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC Macro OS HSM Lens For Nikon Digital Cameras is compatible with the Nikon D3300.

[0.05 lb] After a friend asked for suggestions for his girlfriend's crop sensor body, stating that she liked to take both wide-angle and zoomed-in shots, I started doing some research on superzooms, and in the process I tried a couple myself. I first tried the Canon 18-135 USM. It was okay, nothing mind blowing. Then I picked up this Sigma, in order to do a comparison. I've been very impressed with it. I did a side-by-side with the Canon and Sigma at equivalent focal lengths, and I couldn't discern an image quality difference between the two. Not only that, but the Sigma is smaller, lighter, cheaper, has an extended focal length range, *and* it comes with a hood. A no-brainer in my opinion. (I also tried the new Tamron 18-400, and while it has a fun focal length range, the image quality suffers too much.)

[0.05 lb] I spent a lot of time comparing this lens with others as a potential replacement for the Nikon 18-55 kit lens and the Tamron 18-200mm I had been using as a Hiking Lens. I gave the Tamron away and decided on the Sigma following detailed study of DPreview.com great lens sharpness and performance graphs. I was not disappointed. My first outing, the morning following the lenses prompt arrival from B&H, I was out shooting some rehabber's owls and the results just blew me away, nice bokeh and gorgeous sharpness. The barrel rotates the 'other' way from all my other lenses, but I'll get used to that. The body feels a bit plastic, but if that's what we pay for lightness and affordability... I'll pay it. It also fits onto the camera (a Nikon D5100) in a bit of a tight manner. Tighter than any other lens I own. I primarily use this lens as my general purpose or 'hiking lens' - the one I will haul around with me in the hills or at a state fair (say).

[0.05 lb] I love this all around lens. Unfortunately it doesn't work with the new full frame camera I just purchased. Now I need to find the equivalent for my full frame.

[0.05 lb] The auto focusing works really well on this lens. I usually use manual focus, but I do like the auto focus feature on this lens. Works great with my digital Canon Rebel XSI.

[0.05 lb] I've only taken a couple dozen pictures so far, but like what I see. I got the lens for its zoom range but have been also pleasantly surprised by its macro capability. Lens feels like high quality. My only misgiving, if it can be called that, is having to remember to turn off the stabilization when not shooting so as to save camera battery. I wonder if a time out feature could have been programmed into the function.

[0.05 lb] This is my second Sigma Lens. Great quality. The 18-200 range is perfect for wide angle to telephoto needs. I could not do what I do without this lens.

[0.05 lb] This was my first purchase for my Nikon 3200 and I couldn't be happier. This lens is adaptable for virtually any condition and never disappoints.

[0.05 lb] This lens is sharp from the short to the long end of the zoom range. I have made very sharp large prints, even with the lens at its longest zoom end. This is very unusual for a super zoom. The stabilization of the lens is very effective, I have made sharp photos from a bouncing truck. The light weight of the lens and the long zoom range make this lens very useful for travel. The lens is compatible with all Nikon DSLR cameras (Full-frame cameras switch automatically to the DX mode). Highly recommended.

[0.05 lb] I recently got the Sigma 18-200 f3.5-6.3 DC Macro OS HSM C lens for my Canon 1100D. This is the first third party lens I've bought. Took over 200 photos the morning after receiving it (only stopped taking photos because I had to go to work) and am very happy with the results. I'm not a pro by any means, but this lens is exactly what I expected. The lens hood fell off a couple of times before I realized it needs that little bit of effort to make it click into place, and zooming feels very firm (neither of those are complaints, just observations). The lens hood doesn't spin when focusing or zooming, which is good. The dust cover snaps into place easily and stays put. Bokeh is great! Also happy with the speed of delivery from B&H; ordered it on Sunday and got it Wednesday afternoon. Attaching two photos to this review turned out to be a challenge, though. I'm looking forward to learning what this lens is capable of.
