The brackets hide nicely within the cut outs of the speakers and the thumb knobs screw flush to the outer cabinet housing. Connections in the back are tension push open pinch close, (standard on most outdoor speakers) Audio/Music is clean/clear.

A: Output power 100 watts at 8 ohms depending on your power amp you could daisy chain up to 4 speakers in one channel of you power amplifier. just keep in mind that the more speakers you add to a single 8 ohm speaker the impedance witll drop from each speaker demanding more power from power amp.8, 6, 4 & 2 ohms on speakers when daisy chanied. this speaker is also 70volt compatible with a 70 volt system you can daisy chain as much speakers as you want but also depends on how much power the 70volt has amp has. A: The JBL Control 28-1 High Output Indoor/Outdoor Background/Foreground Speaker (Pair, Black), B&H # JBCONTROL281 has a frequency crossover built in to the speaker. The JBL 281L does not have this feature. Otherwise these models are identical in size and wattage.
