[0.75 lb] B&H is my go to source for many products - I hav purchased camera, lenses, various electronics, and other merchandise from them for over a decade. Always knowledgeable and experienced staff and the service is beyond reproach. This particular item was a replacement power adapter for an external hard drive I purchased from B&H maybe 3 - 4 years ago. Somehow I lost the power source. B&H had a replacement in stock. The order was perfect and the new adapter was EXACTLY the right product. It arrived about 4 days after I placed my order. Once again, everything with B&H is perfect.

I didn't need to adjust any settings on my monitor or computer, just plugged it in and everything showed up. I did change my computer to extend the display instead of mirror them but that's normal for the computer (nothing to do with this adapter).
It feels like a good quality wire, I really like that it has the screw in points for the VGA cable (it actually wiggled loose when I was first connecting the wires so I screwed it in after that), and it's also great to have the headphone jack so if I need audio out in the future I can do that.
Overall it's a great adapter, there is nothing additional I would want/need it to do, so if you're looking for a way to convert HDMI to VGA then this is exactly what you're looking for!

Now when we go to our Cabin we can watch movies or play some video games on our television.  It has been very quite in our Cabin without having the HDMI® to VGA Adapter with Micro-USB Power and now that it has arrived we immediately went inside and hooked it up. 
Wow! It is Amazing that I didn't even need a screwdriver to install, all I had to do is push items together and BAM!!! Now go watch some games being played!

I had an older projector that only had a VGA connection. I wanted to connect my Roku so that I could stream and use the projector to give me that theater feel when watching movies. This simple adapter made that possible. The HDMI connection on the adapter attached to my Roku, then I used one of my old VGA cables to attach the other end of the adapter to the projector. The adapter also has an RCA jack to connect audio to the projector if so desired. I connected the optical from my Roku to my surround sound, so I did not need to use it. Also, if you are utilizing a low voltage HDMI source, adapter has a micro USB connection to give that extra power if needed.

There is even a sound jack to allow the user to transfer sound from a VGA device to one that is running through HDMI. I would highly recommend.

[12 VDC at 2.5 A] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Belkin hdmi/vga adapter to replace a similar one. I love the fact that this has the screw in because my kid would consistently kick the old one out. After a few days I haven't had that problem.

I use this adapter for my 2nd monitor from my desktop PC. The picture quality is great.
The only issue I ran I to was when I first plugged it in, my audio speakers stopped working. I had to go into my pc's volume setting to switch the speaker outputs. I do like the audio port on the adapter since it will give me other options in the future.

This adapter does the job and I'm happy with the product and would recommend it.

Unfortunately, we lose them often as we leave them plugged in so I'm glad Belkin has a reliable and essential piece of hardware. Works great and easy to use.
