[0.105 lb] This lens is straight-up great, sharpness at any stop is very good and vignetting is minimal in f1.4. Compared to the Sony Kit lens is considerably heavier, but definitely feels high quality considering its price.
This is my first lens aside from the Sony Kit lens and I am very satisfied with this lens and cannot recommend it enough.
The only thing I don't love is the weight, considering that I use it mostly for travel, but even with the weight it does add some premium feeling to it, so it's not that of an issue.

[0.105 lb] Picked up this lens to do some talking head video for my youtube channel since this lens is very affordable. The bokeh is great where I get a lot of compliments when live streaming, people are more surprised when I tell them that the camera is a Canon T6i.


Took the lens with me when I went to Sequoia National Park where it performed well. The lens also did great capturing Comet Neowise early in the morning.


For a prime lens, this lens is very versatile as what it can do which makes it an amazing work horse.

[0.105 lb] I used the earlier version, and thought is was an above average lens for the Pentax. Only one of my Pentaxes is full-frame, so I don't shy away from the APS format lenses. This lens is one of my best Pentax mount lenses. So far the results have been extremely sharp and high in contrast. I read that Sigma was cutting back on lenses for Pentax mount, so I had to give this one a try and I'm glad I did.

[0.105 lb] This sigma is a great lens. What hasn’t been said about it? It’s sharp as can be, the f/1.4 is amazing for shooting indoors and in low light, and the 30mm on the APS-C sensor is just a beauty in terms of field of view. Would recommend this lens to any Sony APS-C shooter!

[0.105 lb] This lens is perfect for my D7100 in terms of a walking around lens. It's a low light wonder. This is my second Sigma Art lens and IMO, equal to, if not better than, the Nikkor lenses I have. Manufactured in Japan.
