A: It's pretty sturdy. I'm not sure it's a great choice though as on end it may not have a large enough base to defend against someone running into it. It's solid and can hold some weight though.

A: The Apple Boxes come unfinished. They are sanded smooth so you can leave as is, paint or in my case i used Linseed Oil.

A: It stacks well, but wouldn't be a good idea to stand on more than one. The surface is very smooth and could slip where the boxes meet.
