[7" / 17.8 cm] The wooden camera nato rails work just like they should and are easy/smooth to use. I tried and returned the Bright Tangerine ones because you couldn't really slide on nato devices without two hands. These work just like every other nato rail you're used to with the added benefit of being timmyribs too.

[7" / 17.8 cm] It works well for allowing multiple connection types on the Komodo. Particularly very useful with Tentacle Syncs.

[7" / 17.8 cm] Clips well in place. The three added D-Tap ports are a great addition when using lots of accessories. Nothing bad to say about it so far. Well made and batteries fit very well in place. Center of mass in perfectly centered with the camera even though it only clips on the left side of the battery mount.

[2 x 3-Pin XLR] Always a reliable product, I personally carry three for multi camera shoots.

[7" / 17.8 cm] I have this paired with the Komodo and the Red Expander Module. Allows me to get timecode and control port while maintaining battery hot swap. I recommend you get it with the BP-955 extender; it's an unfortunate add-on purchase of $50 but makes it worth it and maintains a compact form factor with the camera, BP-955 battery, and the v-mount slide. Best feature is the internal fuse for all three d-tap ports from protecting your camera/accessories better than any other option out there.

[0.685 lb] So far I like this setup for external power on the komodo and this will pair well with my anton cine battery.

[7" / 17.8 cm] I don't understand all the negative reviews on this item. Our Komodo has been out on dozens of shoots, including multiple tv shows, music videos, commercials and feature films, and we've never had a problem with the baseplate. It feels very solid and works well. Yes, there isn't a safety pin to holds the dovetail in, but I generally find them to be irritating anyway. Just make sure to tighten it up properly and it's extremely solid.

[2 x 3-Pin XLR] There are a lot of options for Komodo battery extensions. I thought about the tilta advanced power module but kept coming back to this one for many reasons. Build quality is excellent, and I feel good knowing there's a built in fuse protector for all of my powered accessories. Overall a very good battery attachment for my Komodo. PS: buy the arm extension so you can have a canon bp battery attached simultaneously, that's where its at.

[0.685 lb] This is my second A-Box. I've had to add this one for multi camera shoots when they prefer to sync by audio rather than timecode. Might end up buying a third someday. Works perfectly for running XLR cables to DSLR's and other types of cameras. Unfortunately as cameras have gotten smaller and DSLR's have gotten better, the 1/8 audio connection is just something audio and video professionals have to be prepared for.

Since the 1/8 TRS cable doesn't lock into the camera, the A-Box provides a simple solution to keep the pressure off the 1/8 connection and reduces the chances of the cable pulling out. It doesn't take much force to pull the 1/8 connector partly out and that will cause problems when trying to sync cameras by audio. Many camera operators don't even wear headsets so It's very easy for a camera operator not to notice if the cable has backed out.

The included bushings make it easy to attach to a variety of camera rigs. For cameras that don't have a rig, I just use a Red Whip or some other cord to attach the A-Box to the tripod. As long as the box is supporting the weight of the XLR cable, I normally don't have a problem with the 1/8 connector coming loose.

Don't be tempted to just run a long 1/8 extension cable from the mic or mixer to the camera. Those cables are too fragile, unbalanced and will add a lot of noise. The longer the 1/8 cable the more noise it will pick up.
