[1/4"-20 thread] As is often the case, Novoflex adapters are made more3 carefully and fit more smoothly than less expensive adapters. The downside of course is that they also cost more. I think they are worth it to be sure that you do not damage the mount on the camera body or the lens. 5

[1/4"-20 thread] My copy has zero play to either the Leica R lens-mount side or to the S1H L camera-mount side. Great value if you don't need the ROM info with the Leica SL/2/2S cameras. 5
