Q: 1. What is the speed range on this light?

A: The manufacture does not rate the strobe speed. They have never measured the fastest speed. It can be controlled through DMX but that is more about slowing it down and having it strobe at specific intervals. This type of light is designed more for events and theater and the fastest speed it goes is not really a concern when used for those purposes.

Q: 2. Is this unit capable of dimming LED light ?

A: The American DJ Uni Pak II 1-Channel Dimmer Pack / Switch can dim LED lamps but only if the LED lamp is made for dimming. Most are not made to dim from a dimmer pack.

Q: 3. How long is the cable from the pack to the external dimmer switch?

A: Per American DJ, the cable is just 6.5" long.

Q: 4. Does this produce fog thats low on the ground?

A: The physical location at which you place the fogger and the temperature of the fluid will dramatically affect that. You can make the fog stay pretty low if you pre-chill the fog fluid and put the unit on the floor. Some users of this type of machine even go so far as to push the fog through a wide diameter (e.g. 8"/20cm or greater) pipe with ice in it to cool the fog. If that's your thing, it could make for a fun DIY project. There are no specific attachments designed to do that.

A: It is our understanding that the fog emitted from this machine will not harm audio components, but we recommend using the machine at a safe distance.

[Red, Green] Great for attaching brackets to trusses and poles. If you can drill and tap angle the only limit is how much the equipment weights. Even works to diagonally brace cross bars. Storage hint: Empty Paper towel tubes. It will crush the excess circumference into a tab and stop it from rotating or sliding off the tube 5

[9 W] I replaced my old Micro Galaxian with the new Micro Galaxian II. This item is ideal for my mobile DJ business. It packs a huge punch for it's size. The green and red laser pattern has higher brilliance than it's predecessor. The new and improved remote allows you to go directly to the desired color or pattern, instead of scrolling through the entire lineup. As the original, this is a stand alone unit and does not require DMX. A 110v power source and you're in business. The one negative feature, at least for my application, is the change to infra red remote vs the RF remote of the original. One must point the remote at the unit. The remote, in relation to the unit, must be line of sight so when the lighting set-up is behind the DJ one has to point in that direction. This is a minor discrepancy and I will get used to it. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a dazzling effect at a reasonable price. 5

[1.835 lb] This is a great, easy to use clamp for light weight LED lights, they go on quick around standard diameter light poles and truss. They have inner ring adapter that comes with it for smaller 1.5” truss. They are made of plastic but it seems heavy duty and after a couple years of using them we have not had a single on break. It helps to have a small bag of washers on hand to slip one in for a frim fit. 5

[2x Laser Diode ] I gave this a 3 only because when mounting on a motion light, the light faces down. Otherwise it's a great hook. Very solid well made. I used them on can lights and they work perfect. there's the other 2 stars. 5
