[3.55 lb] Definitely the most robust cage you'll find for the price. It's a little big for my Lumix, but I'm still very happy.

[Aluminum] This thing really is as good as a Glidecam twice its price. I was coming from a smaller carbon-fiber stabilizer, so this is noticeably heavier, but it's so quick and easy to balance and stabilizes so well. I'll just have to hit the gym more often. It's worth it.

[Aluminum] The Revo ST-1000 Pro Video Stabilizer is a welcomed addition to my kit. I'll start by saying this, read the instructions and watch the video. This made life so much easier with getting the stabilizer balanced correctly. I did not do this at first as was starting to get frustrated but then watched the video and was able to get it properly balanced.


The learning curve took a minute but once I got it balanced properly it's pretty easy to get back to that position.


I use this with my XH2s and the tokina x mount lens. With the built in stabilization on the camera/lens and this it makes for some buttery smooth shots.


The weights on the bottom are easy to adjust and take off and on. But once again, once I got it balanced I'm just going to use that same setup to keep it nice and easy to get running quickly.


All-in-all it's a pretty good stabilizer once you get it set up properly.

[3.55 lb] I use this with a Canon 7d for video. The setup was straight-forward and easy to understand (though I did track down some instructional videos on Vimeo). Fine tuning takes some time, but once it is dialed in, it is so smooth. I'm still practicing with using it (and building up more forearm strength in the process), but look forward to get it in on some projects soon.

[3.55 lb] Does exactly what I wanted it to do, BUT e careful, you WILL buy more stuff to put on this! Make sure you're prepared to spend money and find an alternate place to sleep at night in case you get kicked out of the house. Seriously though, it's a great value :)

[Aluminum] Very well designed. It has a feel of quality and does what it says it will do. It certainly takes some getting used to, but I am very happy with the results so far. There is a dramatic difference going from handheld to this stabilizer.

[Aluminum] I am a video producer doing mostly corporate and wedding videos. I got the GlideCam HD-2000 to bring in some more flair that you just can't get on sticks. So far I am loving it. It has a profesional look, a great feel, and results in beautiful clean, smooth footage. There is definatley a learning curve to the GlideCam, but if you are willing to take the time there are a ton of resources to help get you going. I am using it with a Canon T2i. Striped down it is actually a bit light for this rig, but with the battery grip loaded with 2 bateries, it works great, and gives me room to add in my zoom or on camera lighting without maxing the rig. I think the only downside is the learning curve. Don't buy this if you want something ready to use on set out of the box, but that said, don't buy any stabilizer if that's what you expect. This is the rig to buy for sure. I would recomend a Quick Release Plate so you can jump from your sticks to the GlideCam quickly.
