[0.3 lb] I bought this mic to use as a TalkBack on a location recording rig. The mic is sturdy, well constructed with good rejection of unwanted sound due to the cardiod pickup pattern. The on/off switch means it can be muted with the dlip of a switch without having to adjust gain settings on the pre amp or sends to headphone mixes. Very pleased with this purchase. 5

[0.3 lb] I never did much sound recording in the past, so I had to buy a microphone. My brother is a singer and always raved about Shure. I went with a low cost unpowered unit, which with an adapter, works great with my Nikon D5500. 5
