[1/4"-20] This is just perfect for an extra grip to the camera without breaking the bank by buying the olympus version, which cost almost 5 times more, and it even allows battery change without removing the whole unit.� It feels very solid, all metal design, and it looks like part of the camera once installed. It is very useful when paired with bigger lenses.

[0.1 lb] This is a difficult product to write a review on. The plate has superb quality. And it sits well on the camera (both OM-5 and E-M5 mk III), thanks to the fact that it extend the height of the camera, the camera is much more comfortable to hold.

However, Olympus/OM System has not made it easy for RRS. Due to the construction of the camera, one has to choose between having access to the ports or greater mobility on the screen. RRS could have made a plate that didn't sit as tightly against the camera body, but then the camera + plate would have become big and bulky so I appreciate that RRS has done it the way they did. I have been undecided between the greater mobility of the screen and access to the ports, but in the end, I have chosen to have access to the ports and the times I need full mobility of the screen remove the plate (which is easy as there is a small hex key on the underside of the plate).

[Aluminum] It's light, small and fits the om-d e-m1 mark ii perfectly. Even blends in with the lines of the camera. What's not to like?

[0.1 lb] Fits EM-5 Mk ii perfectly. Lightweight and leaves plenty of clearance to access battery. It's also in the opposite orientation (90 degrees) from most plates so the knob for the Arca style clamps is easily accessible for mounting.

[1/4"-20] I always feel like I am going to drop the camera when holding it with one hand. Hand grip makes holding the EM-5 feel more secure while just using one hand. If you have larger hands , I recommend this grip

[1/4"-20] Simple design does the job perfectly. Fits the Olympus battery grip for my E-5 perfectly and does not twist. In my opinion, the plate does not get in the way while holding the camera in the vertical orientation. Product comes with a loose non-captive screw to secure the plate to the battery grip. Some may have an issue with this, but I did not. I have the plate permanently attached. Very impressed with this simple, but effective product (not to mention more affordable). I will be looking into more Acratech products in the future

[0.1 lb] I was a bit skeptical at first about the ease of applying this protective film layer. I had a dust article get under the film and thought all was lost. Amazingly, their technique of using scotch tape worked like a charm and all was saved. I'm very happy with the product.
