Attach up to 10" (25 cm) monitors to GyroVu, DJI Ronin-M, and Freefly MoVI stabilizers with this Heavy-Duty Monitor Mount with Quick Release from GyroVu. The quick-release is a compact 1/4"-20 mounting system that allows you to quickly attach/remove your on-camera monitor. It features a secure locking mechanism and supports up to 4 lb loads. The monitor mount and quick release are connected by a durable ball head. The monitor mount clamps on and secures tight with screws, and its top plate is made of robust 4mm thick carbon fiber. It can be mounted on any 25mm rod/pipe, so it's not limited to the above stabilizers.

Q: 1. Will this hold an Odyssey 7Q and Sony LP battery?

A: I use this mount on my Ronin-M with a Atomos Ninja Asassin that has the large Sony camcorder batts powering it and the mount has zero issues. Hope that helps.

Q: 2. Is mounting it to the Ronin M relatively quick and easy, tool-less? How does it lock in place after sliding on?

A: Mounting will be quick and easy. It does have screws on it though, that way you can adjust the Monitor Mount and hold it securely in place after it is installed.

Q: 3. Can someone give me a precise measurement of the diameter?

A: 15mm, BTW, they are not very resistant (which is normal for carbon fiber) so be careful when you use them

Q: 4. Will this work with the DJI Ronin-M?

A: The GyroVu uses 25mm bars and so does the DJI Ronin-M so we do not see why this would not work. Just know this has not be tested.Here are two other GyroVu mounts you might consider.

Q: 5. Hello! I just bought one of these. I can't seem to figure out how to get the ball head to stand still, its always loose. Is there a way to tighten it up?

A: you should be able to make it stay still by tightening BOTH red pieces
