A: Hello Greg. This set is designed primarily for standard/non-custom resolutions and is not guaranteed to work with all custom resolutions. Our CMX-HDMI-SFPL also supports some custom resolutions but is designed to primarily support standard/non-custom resolutions as well. A: The SmallRig 15mm Carbon Fiber Rod Set (12"), like any 15mm rod, would be held in plave by a clamping system, which are most commonly found on base plates and shoulder rigs, but can also be purchased for different mounting setups/accessories as well. Whether or not your SmallRig cage has a base plate included depends on the cage, and how you purchased it, but if it doesn't have a base plate, one can be purchased and added on.
