Broadcast SDI video onto DVI monitors, televisions, video walls, or projectors with the SWIT S-4611 SDI to DVI Video Converterfrom SWIT. The compact converter allows you to input a 3G/HD/SD-SDI video signal up to 1080p60 and convert it to a DVI-D output. A 3G/HD/SD-SDI loop output can also send your video to a local monitor for preview. It can convert the two embedded audio channels in the SDI signal with up to 48 kHz sample rate and send them to a speaker or other audio destination via the 3.5mm output.

Three LED indicators allow you to check if the power is connected and indicate the video input/output signal. The converter is powered using the included power adapter. Two 1/4"-20 threads on the bottom allow the converter to mount on your camera or other gear, and the included A-IP00 install plate allows it to be mounted onto a wall or surface and to secure the cabling. The unit features a unibody aluminum housing for durability.

Q: 1. Can this transmit to an app or just a Swit receiver? And is it at all compatible with the lower end Curve model?

A: The Swit Flow500 transmitter just sends the wireless video signal to SWIT receiver. No app to monitoring of signal is supported. Flow500 transmitter can work up to 4pc receivers as multicaster. Latency is less than 100ms. The Flow500 transmitter does not work with lower end Curve model.

Q: 2. Does this send video signals as is (even if it's 720) or does it convert/scale to 1080p?

A: The SWIT FLOW500 will send the signal as is. In this case, it will maintain a 720 resolution.

Q: 3. Will this unit output monitor all 16 analog channels simultaneously? What is the rotary selector for? Is it for only monitoring specific channels?

A: It will monitor all channels. To see the individual channels, use the rotary.

Q: 4. What is latency of this product in millisecond? Some how, it's technical information of this product is so limited.

A: According to Swit the latency is less than 50ms.

Q: 5. Does anyone happen to know the diameter of the DC connector? Is it 2.1mm or 2.5mm?

A: The Z CAM HDMI to SDI Converter accepts a 2.1mm x 5.5mm barrel connector.

Q: 6. Pls advise what speed Ethernet is required to transmit HD - SDI video?

Q: 7. Does this Device support SMPTE Level B? In other words, does this Device Support BlackMagic gear? No mention of either in Manufacturer's PDF.

A: The DMON-4S supports Level A and Level B at 3G so it will work with Blackmagic products. It also allows conversion between both levels.

Q: 8. Does this unit include fiber driver and power supply?

A: The SWIT Portable Bi-Directional SDI to/from Optical Fiber Converter has power supply. This does not have fiber driver.

Q: 9. What is the latency? Does it how much does it vary depending on distance (1,000 ft vs 10,000 ft)?

[Analog: 48 kHz] How nice it is when you plug a device in and it works - right out of the box. This converter is being used in our TV studio to convert HD-SDI to use in our new HDMI-only smart TV. Brilliant sound and picture with no additional latency noticeable. The converter runs cool and after a week has had no glitches. 5

[1.115 lb] I have a gtx 980, It comes with 1 DVI port, 1 HDMI port and 3 Displayports. To get surround working on 3 monitors i needed to get an adapter from Displayport to DVI. This was the adapter I bought. It works flawlessly and I couldnt be happier with it. B&H was very fast on shipping my adapter out, I had it only 2 days after i submitted the order! 5
