Offered as an electronic download, the u-he Bazille Modular Synth (Download)from u-he Bazille Modular Synth (Download)is a large modular software synth sporting a multitude of connectivity options. Oscillators, LFOs, envelopes, filters, inverters, rectifiers—you can daisy-chain them all in whatever way you see fit, stringing modules together with virtual patch-cables. This feature, combined with various drop-down menus for many parameters, allows you to go truly wild when creating sounds from the ground up.

The synth can be used in music recording, post production, and even in live settings, if your system can handle the CPU load. It features four oscillators combining two assignable wave-types in selectable configurations, a sequencer that can modulate any aspect of the synthesizer, a section for MIDI-mapping (should you wish to bypass the MIDI-learn function) and a dedicated effects processor which includes a three-pronged delay (left, center, and right).

Direct your eyes to the top of the graphic interface and you'll see an adjustable oscilloscope providing exact readouts of the waveform you're currently triggering, and just below that, a mix section with volume and pan controls over its two channels. You can feed these channels however you see fit.

Bazille's graphic interface is rooted in the hardware module synthesizers of old, but U-HE hasn't shied away from 21st century updates. For instance, an on-board quantizer can turn modulating variables into a process that is neatly chromatic, messily atonal, or anything in between. Also, it's possible to patch one single module into multiple output points, making truly bizarre sounds in the process. MIDI-learn and MIDI-unlearn for select features are achievable with the right-click of your mouse. Don't discount the preset library either: it's both vast and accepting of your commentary; you can tag any preset as a "favorite" or, conversely, "junk." As an added bonus, you'll never run out of patch-cables, as this synthesizer does not exist in corporeal form.

    Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What do the "A" and "B" buttons on the handle do? Can I set them to a custom setting?

A: On the Manfrotto MVG300XM Modular Gimbal, the A button and B button have the purpose of marker points. Once recorded, the motion tracks from A to B will be generated automatically. The time between A to B marks can be set in the A/B settings within the gimbal menu.

Q: 2. Is it protected against accidental phantom power like the SE X1 R?

A: The MXL R144 HE Heritage Edition Ribbon Microphone is not protected against phantom power, and there is a warning in the user manual that phantom power may damage the microphone. If your equipment has a phantom power switch that is universal to multiple mic inputs, or if you want to be safe from accidental button presses, a blocker like this can protect your mic: https://bhpho.to/3L0h4CV. If you want a little bit more clean gain from the microphone, in-line preamps such as the Polsen XP-30D or the Cloudlifter CL-1 can protect the mic from phantom power while also providing you with a better level signal.

Q: 3. Does it communicate with cameras the way that the zhyun cranes do allowing for camera settings and record/photos to be taken from the gymbal?

A: Yes. The gimbal comes with the camera control cables. The camera control cables will allow you to start/stop recording, take photos, and other control other camera settings.

    Q: 4. Would it accept Nikon D7500 with Nikon 200-500 mm ?

A: No, I would look into a different unit that has a higher payload rating.

Q: 5. As a remote head, will this mount the Manfrotto SYMPLA?

    A: Yes it can.

Q: 6. How can I get camera control with this gimbal for popular Nikon cameras such as D750? It does not include Nikon DC2 cable.

A: The Nikon D750 is not listed as tested or supported with the Manfrotto MVG300XM Modular Gimbal. Supported cameras: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/lit_files/787194.pdf

Q: 7. Cd or download code

A: I see this question is old, but only one of the answers is correct, so I wanted to set this straight. I just purchased this upgrade version (March of 2021). If there were disks in 2015 that's NOT how it comes now. It is a download code only. It also does not come in a box as is pictured at the top of this page. It's just a sleeve with the code inside. Dominic's answer is only partially correct. The upgrade download is the WHOLE app (60gb NOT 20) regardless of whether or not Onmisphere 1 is currently installed on the computer in question. (You DO have to already have version-1 REGISTERED with Spectrasonics.) All of this information is detailed on the Spectrasonics web site if you want to verify my answer. Yes, be prepared, it's a lengthy process. I started the download just before going to bed & the downloader app estimated 4+ hours. It was done when I got up so I don't know if that was accurate or not. Also, that's just the "download" part. "Installing" takes another chunk of time. Anyway, I hope this clears up any confusion. Thank you B&H for having the BEST price on this! Nobody else discounts it at all.

Q: 8. Can I trust this gimbal for Commercial Jobs ?

A: Yes, the Manfrotto MVG300XM Modular Gimbal is a well-made gimbal that would be reliable for commercial work and production jobs.

Q: 9. What is the max range between the handle as a remote and the gimbal?

A: The remote control has a six-foot range with the Manfrotto MVG300XM Gimbal.

Q: 10. Is 36" the maximum height of platform?

A: Yes, the height of the On-Stage KS6150 Compact MIDI / Synth Utility Stand can be adjusted up to a maximum of 36".

[1000 x 600] I had the 8 bay TB2 and it worked super. Needed to upgrade and went for the 12 bay. It too works super. Hardware Raid is amazing. Nothing seems to slow it down. It maintains top level transfer speeds no matter what I am doing. It NEVER dips...consistent to drawer performance.

[1000 x 600] I've purchased many on-stage products. This is by far one of the best.
It's a well thought=out stand. It's built to last and very versatile. The top adjustable slides are a real bonus and one of kind. The height adjustment makes this unit useful with other stands of all heights. The smart design of this stand is near genius. I immediately purchased a second one before this unit triples in price and it will as more and more users discover it.

[1000 x 600] Bought two of these for our Blackmagic Design Ursa Mini 12K cameras. They worked great. VERY sturdy and well made. Very fast transfer speeds. They get a little warm when under heavy load but all drives do so this can't be counted against them. If you need crazy speed (3400MB/s) this is the drive for you.

[1000 x 600] I gave this as a gift for my best friend and he absolutely loves it and plays with it 24 seven on his computer and loves all the sounds and everything and also he shows me all the time what he makes with it. He was super suprised as this gift. We can't wait to buy more equipment that he wants soon! This is a must for people who like to make beats!

[1000 x 600] Omnisphere 1 was an investment I have never never regretted. It is one that has kept giving back something. Omnisphere 2 continues to provide practically endless options. The new sounds and ability to import your own samples are very useful but I might have felt the top 5-10 presets fulfilled my investment. I wish I felt this way about some other musical gear I purchased.

[1000 x 600] Don’t think just buy! You will not regret this purchase. What you get is quality sounds and a variety of sounds that will spark and get those creative juices flowing. This is the best! Nothing on the market like it and it’s been good on my CPU (i510600k). I’d high recommend no matter your genre. This VST is beast mode for real. You get what you pay for and that’s time, quality, detail, and patience. You will not regret it. So go buy it now my fellow music producers, sound creators, composers and hobbyist etc...

[Synthesizer] I had old 8-bay ARC-8050 (a Thunderbolt [v1]) unit from Areca. While it kept the data that I needed, during the Mac OSX BigSur shutdown it usually timed out when I wrote something to it. I wanted to change to a higher capacity and a new Thunderbolt 3 device. I got it shipped quickly directly from a third party. I checked the order of drives in the old 8-bay ARC-8050 (top one is drive #1, bottom one is drive #8); checked the order of drives in the new 12-bay Areca unit (top left is #1, top right is #6, bottom right is #12); placed drive #1 from the old unit into drive #1 in the new one, .. etc. Connected the new unit to my Mac, booted Mac and... my drive appeared... Very and painless transfer... The new unit is very fast: write is about 1600 MB/s, read about 700 MB/s (that's 8 10TB drives configured as RAID 6 [60TB disk] with about only 4TB free on disk). I'll add more drives when I have the money :-)
