Trigger flashes wirelessly with this 2-pack of Yongnuo YN-622C II E-TTL Flash Transceiver Canon (2-Pack)from Yongnuo. Compatible with Canon E-TTL / E-TTL II cameras and with added support for 622 and 560-RX communication protocols this set will function well with many flash units. For usage, one transceiver slides directly into the hot shoe and utilizes a 2.4 GHz frequency with a range of 328' to trigger the remote flashes mounted on the other transceiver. A variety of features have been added in the model, including support for group ratios and multi flash. The transceivers also have a hot shoe and PC sync port available for mounting a flash unit or connecting to a strobe. When connected to a strobe via the PC sync port, a Super Sync function will allow photographers to achieve a faster sync speed than normally possible with their camera. Additionally, there are both TTL and manual flash modes available for full creative control. And, it can utilize 7 channels and 3 groups for setting up multiple flash units easily and efficiently.

The YN-622C utilizes a series of LEDs to display settings and allow users to make adjustments. On the device is also an AF assist beam to help in low-light conditions. Multiple sync modes are available for more specific needs or effects, including 1st 2nd curtain sync. A high speed sync mode is available and will help in bright lighting conditions and for stopping motion with a maximum speed of 1/8000 second. Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have the Yongnuo 560 IV manual flash with no AF assist beam. I'll either get these or the cheaper manual transceivers. Is the AF assist beam on this little guy powerful enough to make a substantial difference in very low light nightlife situations? Subjects being maybe 5-10 feet away. Thanks!

A: The transmitter has the auto assist focus beam. It is very good if you do not have one on the camera or on the flash that is on the camera. And at 10-15 feet away with it very dark it should help a lot.

Q: 2. Mi Canon 5dMII is not recognizing the YN622C TX. Everything works fine with a 580exII and a YN685 on the hot shoe but the camera not recognize the tranceiver. I have the firmware last update for the canon. Any suggestions? thanks !!!!!

A: The YN-622C-TX needs to be used with the YN-622C or the newer version YN-622C II (firmware can be updated) transceiver.

Q: 3. If i plan to use canon speedlite combine with an alien bee or other strobe what should i do?

A: Get PC cables and will work. As an added benefit it will trigger your Alien Bees HSS

Q: 4. Can it control yn600ex rt-II ?

A: I have just started using these triggers so I don't feel comfortable commenting on them, but so far they have worked fine. I have had some issues trying to get hi speed sync going on them, but with time I hope to figure this out.

Q: 5. Is this transceiver comparible with the YN-568 EX II speedlite and the Canon EOS 100D camera?

A: I am not sure about EOS 100D camera but it is compatible with the YN-568 EX II speedlite. I believe it should also be compatible with the camera. I just haven't used it with that camera.

Q: 6. Will this trigger the Canon Speedlite 430EX III-RT without having to buy more equipment and will it control E-TTL when using a Canon 60D?

A: It will trigger it if you have a set but I don't think it will work with the canon ETTL.

Q: 7. Will it work with the Canon 430 ex iii rt ?

A: Technically it can work. It has not been tested by the manufacture. The one thing to note is one of them will need to be attached to the flash and the other will be used on the camera as a transmitter. The 430ex III RT flash has a receiver built in and that will work with the Yongnuo Wireless Speedlite Transmitter for Canon, B&H # YOYNE3RT MFR # YN-E3-RT or the Canon ST-E3-RT Speedlite Transmitter. This way you do not need to attach a receiver to the flash. And this transmitter has many other features especially when used with more than one off camera flash.

Q: 8. Will this work with the Yongnuo 568ex II?

A: I haven't tried using the YN-622C II transceivers with the Yongnuo 568 II flash. However, I do note from the Yongnuo website that the 568 II flashes are compatible with Yongnuo's C wireless systems and therefore assume they are compatible. (see excerpt from Yongnuo website below)?MASTER CONTROL,OFF CAMERA,HIGH SPEED AND HIGH INDEX ARE ALL EQUIPPEDBrand new master TTL wireless led flash function, can be as the master unit which support to trigger flash of EX series, 600EX-RT?580EX II?430EX II and EX series flash.?SUPPORTS HIGH-SPEED SYNC FLASHYN568EX II is the first speedlite supports high-speed flash in China; with high-speed sync (FP flash), the YN568EX II can synchronize with all shutter speeds. The maximum shutter synchronous speed is up to 1/8000.?COMPATIBLE WITH Ns and Cs WIRELESS FLASHING SYSTEM

Q: 9. I may be missing something, but why would I want to use the YN-622C-TX to control E-TTL flashes when I can do the same with Canon's in-camera control function? Does it do anything Canon cannot?

A: First, using this will allow you to get the flash off-camera which allows for a lot more creativity with flash use. Second, not all speedlites can act as a master flash to control off-camera flash units. Third, not all camera bodies have a pop-up flash that supports optical master mode, and not all bodies (6D, 5D, 1D) have pop-up flashes at all. I hope this helps.

Q: 10. Will the YN-622C II allow pass-through on camera hot-shoe for TTL with my Canon brand flashes? Cameras are 5D3 and 6D. I'd like to retain the TTL using Canon flashes (on camera only) and fire remotely (with manual settings) a second flash off camera. Thanks!

A: Yes the YN 622 C II will allow TTL pass through if using a flash on top of the unit when mounted on a 5D Mark III or 6D body.

[1x PC Sync] I received these about a week ago and I love these so far. Range is great, worked right out of the box, Basic manual control of power, groups -channel etc on the body itself- I like it. communication is instantaneous (no time to sync or anything). I tested them keeping in three different, farthest corners of my decent size house, behind the walls. They worked great. I am a wedding photographer. I bought four of these. Use them mainly to light up the reception floor and dimension in my light. One stays on camera with an on camera TTL flash with modifier and three others are on three corners with manual flashes. They either add extra light or add backlight. There is a lot more to explore -mainly the radio controlled TTL remote flashing and the high-speed sync. But for those I will have to buy more expensive flashes. However, HSS will be helpful in daylight portrait. Cons: 1) they feel little heavy as all of them use 2 AA batt. Carrying a large camera with lens and a full power flash is already heavy. You can feel this addition on top of that. 2) I love manual controls. I wish that I did not even have to go through the camera flash control menu at all. But hey if you want TTL I think that is necessary. 3) When power turned off, the on camera flash does not fire at all. So, if you wanted to manually turn off your remote flashes real quick and keep firing the on camera flash, it wont work. Love them so far.
