Q: 4. Can anyone compare Arista EDU Ultra 100 to Agfa APX100?

Q: 9. What fixer is recommended to be used with this film? Will TF4 work good with it?

A: I use Kodak fixer or Kodafix...I always use a hardening fixer after too many scratched negatives using rapid fixers (I mean geez, it only adds a minute to the film processing time, so rapid fixer isn't that rapid IMO)

[400] This film is great for learning the ropes of medium format film photography and won't break the bank. You can develop it in almost any developer including caffenol and get good results. The film does not curl and is durable. Grab some and get out there!

[400] I shoot this film a lot. I have read it is Fomapan rebranded but I don't know. And don't care...lol. It has been fairly consistent in grain and can be pushed to 800 or 1600 but I wouldn't try pushing to 3200. I haven't tried pulling it yet.

[1] I started shooting Arista EDU Ultra 400 in 35mm and didn't really like it when I started out shooting film again; but after working through some issues and generally gaining experience with it, I'm at the point where Arista EDU is my go to film for B&W. The results are really good and the price is excellent value for money.
